Sinking Of Sozopol
''The Sinking of Sozopol'' is a 2014 Bulgarian drama film directed by Kostadin Bonev starring Deyan Donkov, Snezhina Petrova, Svetla Yancheva and Stefan Valdobrev. A pre-premiere screening took place at the festival Apolonia in Sozopol on 29 August 2014. Additional screenings took place on 12 October 2014 during the 32nd Golden Rose Film Festival in Varna, and 13 November 2014 at the 28th Bulgarian film festival Cinemania. The film was officially released on 3 April 2015. Plot Aging architect Chavo (Deyan Donkov) arrives to Sozopol which is connected to the earlier part of his life. He is determined to drink 10 bottles of vodka and to commit suicide. He meets his friends, thinks about his past and little by little the rain in Sozopol becomes stronger and stronger responding to his feelings. Ina Vultchanova
Ina Vultchanova is a Bulgarian journalist, writer, radio producer and translator. She studied philology at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. She worked for many years producing radio plays for Bulgarian National Radio, winning several prizes for her work. She is also a member of the Union of Bulgarian Filmmakers. Collaborating with Kostadin Bonev, she reworked her first novel into a script which became the movie '' Sinking of Sozopol''. Stefan Valdobrev
Stefan Kostadinov Valdobrev ( bg, Стефан Костадинов Вълдобрев; born 20 May 1970) is a Bulgarian actor, film/theatre composer, singer-songwriter and filmmaker. He received classical training at the National Academy of Theatre and Film Arts in Sofia. Valdobrev rose to prominence in the early 1990s, mainly with his hit songs, which made him extremely popular and gained him idol status on the Bulgarian music scene, twice being awarded as best male artist at the National Music Television ceremonies. Sozopol
Sozopol ( bg, Созопол , el, Σωζόπολη, translit=Sozopoli) is an ancient seaside town located 35 km south of Burgas on the southern Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. Today it is one of the major seaside resorts in the country, known for the ''Apollonia'' art and film festival (which takes place in early September) that is named after one of the town's ancient names. Ahtopol ( bg, Ахтопол , ) is a town and seaside resort on the southern Bulgarian Black Sea Coast. Sinemorets ( bg, Синеморец; also ''Sinemorec'', ''Sinemoretz'', "place on the blue sea") is a village and seaside resort on the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria.
