Sinha
Sinha is a Sanskrit term which originates in the Indian subcontinent and is common in India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan, covering South Asia. It comes from a Sanskrit word meaning " lion" or "brave person". Usage subcontinent In India, Sinha is used as a surname by the Bengali Kayasthas (also spelt ''Singha''), Haryanvis , Punjabis and the Kayasthas of the Hindi Belt. Sinhalese people ( si, සිංහල ජනතාව, Sinhala Janathāva) are an Indo-Aryan ethnolinguistic group native to the island of Sri Lanka. They were historically known as Hela people ( si, හෙළ). Sonakshi Sinha (; born 2 June 1987) is an Indian actress who works in Hindi films. Tapan Sinha
Tapan Sinha (2 October 1924 – 15 January 2009) was one of the most prominent Indian film directors of his time forming a legendary quartet with Satyajit Ray, Ritwik Ghatak and Mrinal Sen.
