Single Tree Vista
Single Tree Vista, also known as ''Yikeshu Vista'' or ''Yikeshu Overlook'', is a popular overlook park and tower located in the Nan'an District of Chongqing in Southwest China. It is known as one of the best places to see a panorama of the urban area of central Chongqing, especially the skyline of Yuzhong District, Yangtze River, Jialing River as well as a night view of the city. Next to the South Mountain Park, the overlook is set on half way up of a mountain peak in southeastern edge of Chongqing. The elevation of the overlook is about 400 meters. The overlook tower itself is 28 meters tall, and it is able to hold about 500 people at once. South Mountain Park (Chongqing)
South Mountain Park (Nanshan Park) is a large suburban park in Nan'an District of Chongqing. It is located on the ''Nanshan'' (South Mountain), which is a part of the Tongluo Mountain (a branch of Huaying Mountain). The mountain itself is a huge anticline with two concaves on the top, and it is also a part of the basin and range province of eastern Sichuan. The highest elevation of South Mountain is 681 meters, and the average elevation of peaks is around 400 meters. Karst landforms and deep river valleys are widely distributed in the mountain. Qiao Shi (24 December 1924 – 14 June 2015) was a Chinese politician and one of the top leaders of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Jialing River
The Jialing River, formerly known by numerous other names, is a major tributary of the Yangtze River in the Sichuan Basin. It is named after the Jialing Valley in Feng County, Shaanxi through which it flows. The Jialing River's most notable characteristic was formerly its pellucid green waters. Yuzhong District
Yuzhong District () is the central district and heart of Chongqing municipality.
