''Sing Galing!'' is a Philippine musical videoke singing reality game show created and developed by the Associated Broadcasting Company (now TV5). The show had become a household name and a constant top-rated show during its first run on ABC and enjoys recognition as one of the most successful, original and innovative shows in Philippine television history. The show first aired on March 6, 1998, with Ai-Ai delas Alas, Allan K., and Kristine Florendo served as its first hosts. It was renamed ''Sing Galing: The Trio-oke Showdown'' in 2004 with both delas Alas and Lapus served as hosts; then renamed again to ''Sing Galing ni Pops'' the same year hosted by Lapus and Pops Fernandez, until the end of its original run on April 30, 2005. ''Pinoy Dream Academy'' is a Philippine television program similar to '' Big Brother''. The second season began on June 14, 2008. Nikki Gil and Toni Gonzaga reprised their roles as hosts of the show, but Gonzaga now handled the main hosting plum while Gil appeared both on the Probation Nights and Little Dreamers Gala/Expulsion Night. Zendee
Zendee Rose Japitana Tenerefe, known mononymously as Zendee, is a Filipina singer. She rose to prominence after a video of her singing a karaoke version of Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" was put on YouTube by Yuan Juan a.k.a. youngjay0918. Known on YouTube as the "random girl of SM Megamall" she gained a following and went on to sign with the record label Warner Music Philippines. Prior to her discovery, she had already participated in numerous singing competitions in the Philippines. ''Ang Tanging Ina'' () is a 2002 Filipino comedy film, starring Ai-Ai delas Alas and Eugene Domingo. The movie was the highest grossing Filipino film until it was surpassed by ''Sukob'' in 2006.
