Sin Ansan Line
The Sinansan Line (Hangul: ì‹ ì•ˆì‚°ì„ , Hanja: 新安山線, meaning "New Ansan Line") is the tentative name of a commuter rail line that will eventually link Cheongnyangni station with western Gyeonggi province, passing through key areas of the Seoul metropolitan area, including Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo and Gwangmyeong station. Planning The forerunner of the Sinansan Line was Line 10, proposed in 1994 as part of Seoul Metro's Phase 3 expansion but was mostly unbuilt due to the 1997 Asian financial crisis. Originally Line 10 was also planned to extend east beyond downtown Seoul going through either Sinchon, Dongnimmun and Hyehwa or pass through Gongdeok, Seoul Station and Dongdaemun Stadium. However, following the restoration of the Cheonggye Stream, under which Line 10 was planned to be laid, the former route seems much more likely. Siheung
Siheung ( ) is a Administrative divisions of South Korea, city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. The city has a population of 511,807 people, where 508,646 are residents out of 218,846 households as of August 2021. Siheung acquired its current administrative structure on January 1, 1989, the former Siheung County was divided into the cities of Siheung, Gunpo, and Uiwang. At the time, Siheung had a population of only 93,000. This number more than tripled in the following decade as massive suburban apartment complexes were developed. Today's Siheung city area formerly belonged to Incheon and Ansan before 1914. Notable landmarks include the Oido island, the Soraesan mountain, and the port and inlet of Wolgot. Seohae Line
The Seohae Line is a dual-track, electrified rail line in western Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. The Seohae Line is being built in four sections simultaneously. The first section runs south from Sosa in Bucheon, cross Siheung, and ends in Wonsi in Ansan. There is a transfer to the Seoul Subway Line 1 at its start in Sosa, the Sin Ansan Line at Siheung City Hall, and Seoul Subway Line 4 at Ansan. There are currently 14 stations (Wonjong-Wonsi). The line is operated by SEO HAE RAIL CO.,LTD., which is a subsidiary of Seoul Metro. Gyeonggang Line
The Gyeonggang Line (ê²½ê°•ì„ ) is a rail line in South Korea, which at present comprises two distinct sections. The first one, which opened on September 24, 2016, is part of the Seoul Metropolitan Subway system in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, and runs from the city of Seongnam to Yeoju City, partially coinciding with the route of the former narrow-gauge Suryeo Line. The second section, which is located entirely in Gangwon Province, runs between Gangneung and Wonju and opened on December 22, 2017, in anticipation of the 2018 Winter Olympics. This section of the line offers KTX service from Seoul, through the Jungang Line. In the future, the two sections are to be connected, and the Gyeonggang Line will be extended westwards to Siheung. Guro Digital Complex Station
Guro Digital Complex Station is a station on the Seoul Subway Line 2. This station will also become a station on the Sin Ansan Line in the future. Yeongdeungpo Station
Yeongdeungpo station (Station 139) is a ground-level railway station in Seoul, South Korea. The station is located in Yeongdeungpo Dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, and is a stop on the Gyeongbu Line, Honam Line and Seoul Subway Line 1. The station is integrated into the Yeongdeungpo Lotte Department Store. Located in the station are Lotteria, Dunkin' Donuts, Krispy Kreme, and KFC.
