Simunye
Simunye is a sugar mill town on the lowveld in eastern Eswatini. Almost all of the residents of the town work for the Royal Eswatini Sugar Corporation's sugar mill located nearby. The town is located about south of the border crossing to South Africa (the border crossing is known as Bordergate on the Eswatini side and Mananga on the South African side) and about from the border crossing to Mozambique (known as Lomahashaon the Eswatini side and Namaacha on the Mozambique side). It lies slightly west of the Lubombo Mountains, about north-east of Siteki. The town is geographically only about north-west of Mhlumeni on the eastern border, but because of the mountain range it is probably faster by road detouring southwards through Siteki. Lubombo Region
Lubombo is a region of Eswatini, located in the east of the country. It has an area of 5,849.11 km² and a population of 212,531 (2017). Its administrative center is Siteki. It borders all three other regions: Hhohho to the north, Manzini to the west, and Shiselweni to the south. It is divided into 11 tinkhundla. Geography Geographically, the region is dominated almost entirely by the Lubombo Mountains. The Lubombo District is the easternmost of the four regions of Eswatini. Its capital is Siteki. Administrative divisions Lubombo is subdivided to 11 tinkhundla (or constituencies). These are local administration centres, and also parliamentary constituencies. Lubombo Mountains
The Lebombo Mountains, also called Lubombo Mountains ( pt, Montes Libombos), are an , narrow range of mountains in Southern Africa. They stretch from Hluhluwe in KwaZulu-Natal in the south to Punda Maria in the Limpopo Province in South Africa in the north. Parts of the mountain range are also found in Mozambique and Eswatini. Description Geologically, the range is considered a monocline; part of a rifted volcanic margin. The Lebombo monocline was aligned with the Explora Escarpment off-shore Dronning Maud Land, Antarctica, before the break-up of Gondwana. The Lebombo monocline strikes N-S and dips to the east. It is composed of a sequence of Jurassic age volcanic rock, both basaltic lavas and rhyolitic flows and tuffs. Mhlume United Football Club is a defunct Eswatinii soccer club based in Mhlume. It played in the Premier League of Eswatini. History The team was founded by merging two teams Mhlume Peacemakers and Mhlume FC. In 1981 Mhlume Peacemakers has won the Swazi Premier League. Veld
Veld ( or ), also spelled veldt, is a type of wide open rural landscape in :Southern Africa. Particularly, it is a flat area covered in grass or low scrub, especially in the countries of South Africa, Lesotho, Eswatini, Zimbabwe and Botswana.
