''Simple Plan'' is the third studio album by Canadian rock band Simple Plan, released on February 12, 2008. The album was a large musical departure from the band's previous albums, as its theme was more love-based than teen angst. It reached number 2 on the Canadian album charts, number 14 on the US ''Billboard'' 200 and charted in the top 10 worldwide in countries including Australia, Austria, Brazil, Sweden and Switzerland. Background Simple Plan released their second album '' Still Not Getting Any...'' in October 2004. In July 2005, vocalist Pierre Bouvier said that while they hadn't written any new material, he expected them to release a new record by mid 2006. Touring in support of ''Still Not Getting Any...'' concluded in February 2006 with a European trek. The Simple Plan
''The Simple Plan'' is an EP released independently in 2022 by August Is Falling, a pop-punk/emo music project led by American singer-guitarist Pat Finnerty. Music producer Butch Walker mixed the EP's single, "August Is Falling". The EP also features appearances by drummer Eric Slick, Kim, and Toby Leaman of Dr. Dog. Development and release In mid 2022, Philadelphia-based musician and YouTube personality Pat Finnerty founded August Is Falling, a pop-punk, emo-style music project. Finnerty wrote the songs and played guitars and sang vocals, on the band's ''The Simple Plan'' EP that was released independently on September 2, 2022. The EP featured Toby Leaman, Kim, and Butch Walker on tracks, as well an appearance by Eric Slick on drums. Musical artist Harsh Symmetry appeared on EP's the cover. Ted Jensen
Ted Jensen (born September 19, 1954) is an American mastering engineer, known for having mastered many recordings, including the Eagles' ''Hotel California'', Green Day's '' American Idiot'' and Norah Jones' ''Come Away with Me''. Biography Ted Jensen was born to Carl and Margaret (Anning) Jensen, both of whom were musicians. Carl had studied at Yale University. Margaret went to Oberlin College & Conservatory and Skidmore College and was also a pilot. Carl and Margaret met on a train while going to a choral workshop. Ted has one brother, Rick, and two daughters, Kristen and Kim. Chris Lord-Alge is an American mix engineer. He is the brother of both Tom Lord-Alge and Jeff Lord-Alge, both of whom are also audio engineers. Chris and Tom are known for their abundant use of dynamic compression for molding mixes that play well on small speakers and FM radio. Lord-Alge frequently collaborates with Howard Benson, who has produced the plurality of his mix discography. Career Lord-Alge worked at Unique Recording Studios in New York City in the 1980s. David Desrosiers
Simple Plan is a Canadian rock band from Montreal, Quebec, formed in 1999. The band's lineup consists of Pierre Bouvier (lead vocals, studio bass guitar), Chuck Comeau (drums), Jeff Stinco (lead guitar), and Sébastien Lefebvre (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), with all four performing with the group since its inception. David Desrosiers (bass guitar, backing vocals) joined the band in early 2000 and departed in July 2020 due to sexual misconduct accusations. Evanescence is an American rock band founded in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1995 by singer and musician Amy Lee and guitarist Ben Moody. The Offspring
The Offspring is an American rock band from Garden Grove, California, formed in 1984. Robert Jens Rock (born April 19, 1954) is a Canadian record producer, sound engineer and musician, best known for producing rock bands and music artists such as Metallica, Mötley Crüe, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, The Tragically Hip, the Cult, 311, Our Lady Peace, Bryan Adams, the Offspring, Michael Bublé, Black Veil Brides, David Lee Roth, and Ron Sexsmith. Barbados
