Agne Simonsson
Tore Klas Agne Simonsson (19 October 1935 – 22 September 2020) was a Swedish footballer who played as a striker. Beginning his career with Örgryte IS in 1953, he went on to represent Real Madrid and Real Sociedad in La Liga in the early 1960s before returning to Örgryte in 1963. Simonsson won 51 caps for the Sweden national team, and was a part of the Sweden team that finished second at the 1958 FIFA World Cup. He was also the recipient of the 1959 Svenska Dagbladet Gold Medal after a spectacular performance for Sweden in an international game against England at Wembley Stadium. Club career Örgryte IS Simonsson played youth football for BK René before signing for Örgryte IS in 1949. He made his senior debut for Örgryte in 1953, when the team played in Division 3. Per Stefan Mikael Simonsson (born 5 January 1960, in Hyltebruk) is a former professional tennis player from Sweden. He enjoyed most of his tennis success while playing singles. During his career, he won 2 doubles titles. He achieved a career-high singles ranking of World No. 49 in 1983 and a career-high doubles ranking of World No. 88 in 1984. He is a brother of fellow tennis player Hans Simonsson. After his career, he coached two top 10 players on the ATP ranking, Magnus Gustafsson and Magnus Larsson. Hans Simonsson (Swedish Navy Officer)
Vice Admiral Hans Viktor Simonsson (3 August 1880 – 16 July 1965) was a senior Swedish Navy officer. He served as head of the Military Office of the Naval Defence (1933–1938) and as Commanding Admiral of the South Coast Naval District (1938–1942) and of the East Coast Naval District (1942–1945). Simonsson was one of the founders of the Swedish Submarine Service. Early life Simonsson was born on 3 August 1880 in Holm Parish, Mellerud Municipality, Sweden, the son of Viktor Simonsson, a traffic director, and his wife Hanna Forssman. Simonsson became a sea cadet in 1895. Career Simonsson was commissioned as a naval officer in 1901 with the rank of ''underlöjtnant''. Hans Simonsson (born 1 May 1962) is a retired professional tennis player from Sweden. Primarily a doubles specialist, he won 11 ATP Tour titles in his career. He won the French Open doubles title in 1983 with his countryman Anders Järryd. He also played in the 1983 Davis Cup final for Sweden. He reached his career high doubles ranking of No. 10 in the world on 2 January 1984. Simonsson again reached the French Open doubles final in 1985, but he and Schlomo Glickstein were defeated by Mark Edmondson and Kim Warwick. Philip Simonsson
Philip Simonsson (Old Norse: ''Filippus Símonsson'') (ca. 1185-1217) was a Norwegian aristocrat and from 1207 to 1217 was the Bagler party pretender to the throne of Norway during the civil war era in Norway. Background Philip was the son of Simon Kåresson (d. 1190) and Margrét Arnadóttir. Símon Kåresson had been a prominent opponent of King Sverre, who fought with the unsuccessful pretender Jon Kuvlung in the 1180s and was killed launching a new unsuccessful rising against Sverre in 1190. Philip was the grandson of Ingrid Ragnvaldsdotter, the dowager queen of Norway. Philip's mother Margrét was the half-sister of King Inge I of Norway and full sister of Nikolás Arnason, bishop of Oslo and another prominent opponent of King Sverre and the Birkebeiner.
