Simone Motta
Simone Motta (born 26 August 1977) is an Italian football coach and a former player who is the manager of the Under-19 squad of Pordenone. Motta spent most of his career in Italian lower divisions, scored 85 goals in Lega Pro Prima Divisione; 32 goals in Lega Pro Seconda Divisione and 23 goals in Serie B. (as of 2011–12 season) Biography Early career Born in Udine, Friuli, Motta started his career at Udinese youth team. After a season with Serie C2 team Valdagno, he spent 3 seasons in Serie D. In 1999–2000 Serie D season he scored 17 goals and won a contract from Serie C2 team South Tyrol. He scored an average of 15 goals a season and left for Serie C1 side Teramo in 2002. He scored a career high of 23 goals and the team entered the promotion playoffs. The Serie D () is the top level of semi-professional football in the country. The fourth tier of the Italian league system, the competition sits beneath the third professional league, Serie C. It is administered by the Lega Nazionale Dilettanti and is organized by the Roman ''Comitato Interregionale'' (Interregional Committee), a "league in the league" inside the LND. Cristian Bertani (born 14 March 1981) is an Italian footballer who plays for as a forward for an amateur club Pro Novara. He was suspended in August 2012 for three years and six months. Davide Sinigaglia (born 29 July 1981) is an Italian footballer who plays as a forward for ASD Cellatica. Caso Genoa was an Italian football scandal in 2005. In the 2004–05 Serie B season, Genoa won the Serie B championship and were set to be promoted to the Serie A for the first time in 10 years. Genoa went into their final match of the season against Venezia on 11 June 2005, having already secured at least promotion play-off, and beat Venezia 3–2. However, three days later, it was discovered that Stefano Capozucca, a director of Genoa, had paid Venezia director Giuseppe Pagliara €250,000 for his team to intentionally lose the match. It was later found that the principal protagonists behind the scandal were Genoa's president, Enrico Preziosi, and Venezia's president, Franco Dal Cin.
