Simone Iacone
Simone Iacone (born February 8, 1984 in Pescara) is an Italian auto racing driver. After winning the Italian Alfa Challenge (under 25) in 2003 and the European Alfa Romeo 147 Challenge in 2004, he made his Italian Supertutismo Championship debut in the 2006. Career Simone had a successful career in karts, finishing 2nd in the Italian Kart Championship in 1996 and 1997 (60mini kart, 100junior). In the 2003 he began competing in the Italian Alfa Challenge where he took in 10 races 7 podium, 3 pole positions, 5 lap records and winning the Under 25 title. In 2004 he won the European Alfa Romeo 147 Challenge after 3 wins (Monza, Valencia, Spa) and 7 podiums. Pescara
Pescara (; nap, label= Abruzzese, Pescàrë; nap, label= Pescarese, Piscàrë) is the capital city of the Province of Pescara, in the Abruzzo region of Italy. It is the most populated city in Abruzzo, with 119,217 (2018) residents (and approximately 350,000 including the surrounding metropolitan area). FIA WTCC Race Of Brazil
The FIA WTCC Race of Brazil was a round of the World Touring Car Championship, it was held at the Autódromo Internacional de Curitiba near the city of Curitiba in the Brazilian state of Paraná. The race was run every year between 2006 and 2012. It was the fifth round of the 2006 season, running in July, although it was then run in March as the opening round of the season every year since 2007. The race was sponsored by HSBC from 2006 until 2010. The 2011 Race of Brazil had originally been scheduled to be held at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace in São Paulo but reverted to Curitiba a month before the event owing to renovation works being carried out at the Interlagos circuit. A Brazilian round was published on the schedule for the 2013 season published in December 2012, however in March 2013 a revised calendar was released with the Brazil round replaced by two TBA events. The WTCR Race of Macau, previously Guia Race of Macau and WTCC Guia Race of Macau, is an international touring car race, and currently a round of the World Touring Car Cup. It is held on the temporary 6.2 km Guia Circuit on the streets of Macau, the Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China as part of the Macau Grand Prix weekend. The FIA WTCR Race of Spain is a round of the World Touring Car Championship, which was held at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo near the city of Valencia in Spain. The race ran at Valencia every year from the return of the series in 2005 season through to 2012. The event was initially kept on the 2013 calendar without a venue being confirmed, it was later dropped entirely from the schedule. Jordi Gené is the only Spanish driver to win their home race. The FIA WTCC Race of Mexico was a round of the World Touring Car Championship, held at the Autódromo Miguel E. Abed near the city of Puebla in Mexico. The race was first run in the 2005 season, the first season of the revived series. It was run every year between 2005 and 2009 except in the 2007 season, when the planned event was cancelled due to problems with the Puebla circuit, although these problems were addressed for 2008. The FIA WTCR Race of Germany, previously known as the FIA WTCC Race of Germany, is a round of the World Touring Car Cup, which originally was held at the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben in Germany. The race ran at Oschersleben every year since the return of World Touring Car Championship from 2005 to 2011. It was left off the 2012 calendar.
