Simon Zebo (born 16 March 1990) is an Irish rugby union player who plays as a wing or fullback for United Rugby Championship club Munster. Early life Born in Cork, Zebo attended Beaumont Boys School and Presentation Brothers College, Cork. In his youth he also played hurling for Blackrock GAA and association football for Avondale United. Munster 2010–2013 Zebo made his Munster debut against Connacht on 18 April 2010 and scored his first try for Munster against Scarlets in April 2011. He made his Heineken Cup debut for Munster against Scarlets on 10 December 2011. Zebo opened his Heineken Cup scoring account with a hat-trick against Northampton Saints on 21 January 2012, during a Man-of-the-Match performance in the round 6 fixture. European Rugby Champions Cup
The European Rugby Champions Cup (known as the Heineken Champions Cup for sponsorship reasons) is an annual rugby union tournament organised by European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR). It is the top-tier competition for clubs who compete in a predominantly European league. Clubs qualify for the Champions Cup via their final positions in their respective national/regional leagues (English Premiership, French Top 14, and United Rugby Championship) or via winning the second-tier Challenge Cup; those that do not qualify are instead eligible to compete in the second-tier Challenge Cup. Sale Sharks is a professional rugby union club from Greater Manchester, England. They play in Premiership Rugby, England's top division of rugby. Originally founded in 1861 as Sale Football Club, now a distinct amateur club, they adopted the nickname Sharks in 1999. Since 2012 they have played their home games at the A.J. Benetton Rugby, also known as Benetton Treviso ( or ), is an Italian professional rugby union team based in Treviso, Veneto competing in the United Rugby Championship, the European Rugby Challenge Cup and European Champions Cup. Gloucester Rugby are a professional rugby union club based in the West Country city of Gloucester, England. The 2013–14 Heineken Cup was the 19th and final season of the Heineken Cup, the annual rugby union European club competition for clubs from the top six nations in European rugby. The pool stage began on 11 October 2013 and ran through to 17–19 January 2014, followed by the knockout stages culminating in the final.
