Simon Mbatshi Batshia
Simon Mbatshi Batshia (born 24 May 1949) is a politician from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He was the Governor of Bas-Congo province from February 2007 to March 2012, when he was elected as a deputy to the National Assembly (Democratic Republic of the Congo), National Assembly. Batshia is also a consultant in conflict resolution at the Centre for Conflict Resolution, based in Cape Town, South Africa, and is a member of the South African Institute for International Affairs. In 2007, Batshia ordered the opening of the border between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the neighboring Republic of the Congo at Luozi, which had been closed for ten years, to increase trade among people living near the border. Movement For The Liberation Of Congo
The Movement for the Liberation of the Congo (french: Mouvement de Libération du Congo, or MLC) is a political party in Democratic Republic of the Congo. Formerly a rebel group operating in the Democratic Republic of Congo that fought the government throughout the Second Congo War, it subsequently took part in the transitional government and is one of the main opposition parties. Court Of Cassation (Democratic Republic Of The Congo)
The Court of Cassation () is the main court of last resort in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It has its seat in the Kinshasa Palace of Justice. The Court judges final appeals with respect to the "normal" system of justice, excluding cases of administrative justice, which go before the ''Conseil d'État''. The court consists of 26 justices, organized into legislative and judiciary sections. Judges are nominated by the Judicial Service Council, a separate and independent body composed of judges from the lower courts and public prosecutors. Jean-Pierre Bemba Gombo (born 4 November 1962) is a politician in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
