Simon Hubbard is a British actor and director. Biography Hubbard was born in Washington, Tyne & Wear, in June 1976. At the age of 7 his family moved to the mining village of Shiney Row where he attended Shiney Row primary school, then on to Washington Comprehensive School. Career Theatre Hubbard directed his first play at the age of sixteen, George Bernard Shaw's '' The Dark Lady of the Sonnets'', staged at the Washington Arts Centre. Washington, Tyne & Wear
Washington is a town in the City of Sunderland district of Tyne and Wear, England. Historically part of County Durham, it is the ancestral settlement of the Washington family, which George Washington descended from. It is located between Chester-le-Street, Gateshead and Sunderland. Washington was designated a new town in 1964 and became part of the Borough of Sunderland in 1974, the borough became a city in 1992. It has expanded dramatically since its designation, by new villages created and reassignment of areas from Chester-le-Street, to house overspill from surrounding cities. Lee David Ingleby (born 28 January 1976) is an English film, television and stage actor. He is best known for his roles as Detective Sergeant/Detective Inspector John Bacchus in the BBC drama ''Inspector George Gently'', as Stan Shunpike in ''Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban'' and the role of Paul Hughes, the father of an autistic child, Joe, in a BBC drama, ''The A Word''.
