Simon Grix (born 28 September 1985) is an Ireland international rugby league footballer who played as a forward for Halifax in the Betfred Championship and has been the team's manager since May 2019. Halifax, West Yorkshire
Halifax () is a minster and market town in the Metropolitan Borough of Calderdale in West Yorkshire, England. It is the commercial, cultural and administrative centre of the borough, and the headquarters of Calderdale Council. The Wigan Warriors are a professional rugby league club in Wigan, Greater Manchester, England, which competes in the Super League. Michael Anthony Collins (born 30 April 1986) is an English football player and coach. He is currently the Lead u23s coach for Sheffield United. As a player, he has played club football for Huddersfield Town, Scunthorpe United, AFC Wimbledon, Oxford United, York City, Leyton Orient and F.C. Halifax Town; he also had a spell playing in India for I-League side Bengaluru and represented the Republic of Ireland under-18, under-19 and under-21 teams. Scott Byron Grix (born 1 May 1984) is a former Ireland international rugby league footballer who last played as a for Halifax Panthers in the Betfred Championship. He previously played for the Doncaster Dragons, Halifax, Leigh Centurions and the Widnes Vikings in National League One. Grix also played for the Limoux Grizzlies in the Elite One Championship, and Wakefield Trinity in the Super League in two separate spells. Million Pound Game (stylized as £1M Game) was an annual playoff final rugby league game that decides which Championship team will be promoted to Super League the following season. Between 2015 and 2018, the game was played as part of The Qualifiers until the 2019 league restructure when it became the final of the top 5 playoff series. The name alludes to the higher level of funding Super League clubs receive. History It was proposed in 2014 and instigated in 2015, with the restructuring of the Rugby League season by the Rugby Football League. Toulouse Olympique or TO XIII is a professional rugby league club in Toulouse, south-west France. Founded in 1937, two years after the French Rugby League Federation, the club is a six-time winner of the French Rugby League Championship. The Championship, known as the Betfred Championship for sponsorship reasons, is a professional rugby league competition. It is the Rugby Football League Championship Second Division, second-tier competition organised by the Rugby Football League, the governing body for the sport in England, and consists of 14 teams, with promotion to the Super League and relegation to the third-tier competition, RFL League 1, League One.
