Silvio Leonard Sarría also known as Silvio Leonard Tartabull (born September 20, 1955 in Cienfuegos) is a former sprinter from Cuba. Career Leonard first announced his talent when he set a new Cuban 100 metres national junior record in 1973 with a time of 10.24 s. Leonard was successful in the 1974 Central American and Caribbean Games winning the 100 and 200 metres double. Sílvio Renato Nunes (born 1 September 1965), simply known as Sílvio, is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Career Trained at Joinville, Silvio is the third goalkeeper with the most appearances for the club, totaling 204 in the period from 1985 to 1995, when he was state champion twice. He joined Grêmio in 1995 and even though he was Danrlei reserve most of the time, he participated in most of the club's achievements during the period. After failing in some games in 2000, he returned to Joiville in 2001, where he became state champion once again. He retired in 2003, but returned to football in 2014, as goalkeeper for Fluminense de Joinville. He is currently a goalkeeper coach for Joinville youth teams. Silvio Smalun
Silvio Smalun (born 2 November 1979 in Erfurt, Thuringia) is a German former competitive figure skater. He is the 2003 Bofrost Cup on Ice bronze medalist, the 2000 Ondrej Nepela Memorial bronze medalist, and a two-time (2001 and 2003) German national champion. He reached the free skate at seven ISU Championships, achieving his best result, 8th, at the 2006 Europeans. Career Silvio Smalun started skating at the age of 5. His first coach was Ilona Schindler. He trained alongside Stefan Lindemann. In 1995, he moved to Oberstdorf where he was coached by Michael Huth. Due to his studies, he trained also in Ulm without his coach. Smalun placed 8th at the 2006 European Championships, higher than Stefan Lindemann who was selected for the Olympics. Smalun retired from competitive skating in September 2006. Silvio Spaccesi (August 1, 1926 – June 2, 2015) was an Italian actor and voice actor. Biography Born in Macerata, Spaccesi studied in a Salesians of Don Bosco School, and made his official theatrical debut with the stage company held by Angelo Perugini. After moving to Rome, he formed at the Silvio d’Amico Academy of Dramatic Arts. He was best known for the musical comedy '' Forza venite gente'', in which he played the role of Pietro di Bernardone, Francis of Assisi's father. Spaccesi was also active as a voice actor and a dubber. He voiced Yoda in the Italian versions of the ''Star Wars'' original trilogy and Santa Claus in ''The Nightmare Before Christmas''. Silvio Savelli (died 1515) was an Italian condottiero. A member of the Savelli family of Rome, he was the brother of Troiano Savelli. After the initial baronial struggles against the Colonna and the Orsini, he was hired by the Republic of Florence, taking part in the war for Pisa in 1503–1505. Later he was under the Holy Roman Empire's banner, and participated in the Battle of Novara. In 1513 Massimiliano Sforza, Duke of Milan, entrusted him with a force of 2,700 infantry and 500 horses to capture Bergamo, which was held by the Venetians, and Savelli defeated Renzo da Ceri. Savelli was wounded when da Ceri defeated him at the battle of Ombriano near Crema, and Bergamo fell again to Venice. Savelli was able to regain the city and obtained the title of commander-in-chief of the Milanese infantry. Silvio Piola (; 29 September 1913 – 4 October 1996) was an Italian footballer who played as a striker. He is known as a highly prominent figure in the history of Italian football due to several records he set, and he is regarded as one of the greatest strikers of his generation, as well as one of the best Italian players of all time. Silvio Passerini (1469 – 20 April 1529) was an Italian cardinal. Biography Born in Cortona, Passerini was taken under the wing of the powerful Florentine Medici family, after his father, Rosado, was imprisoned for too openly supporting the Medici cause during one of the reversals of power in 15th‑century Florence. Silvio Orlando (born 30 June 1957) is an Italian actor. Orlando was born and raised in Naples, where he started acting in theatre in 1976.
