Siloam Springs High School is a comprehensive public high school for grades nine through twelve serving the community of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, United States. Located in the foothill of the Ozark Mountains and within the Fayetteville–Springdale–Rogers Metropolitan Area, Siloam Springs High School is the sole high school managed in Benton County by the Siloam Springs School District. In addition to Siloam Springs, the district includes all of Cincinnati, and a small section of Gentry. Siloam Springs is a city in Benton County, Arkansas, United States. The city shares a border on the Arkansas-Oklahoma state line with the city of West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma, which is within the Cherokee Nation territory. The town was founded in 1882 and was characterized by the purported healing powers of the spring water feeding Sager Creek and trading with nearby Native American tribes. John Brown University (JBU) was founded in 1919 as a private, interdenominational, Christian liberal arts college in the city. Arkansas Governor's School
The Arkansas Governor's School (also known as Arkansas Governor's School for the Gifted and Talented or AGS) is a publicly funded four-week (formerly six-week) residential summer program offered to rising seniors in the state of Arkansas. The school typically accepts around 400 students each year. Modeled after the Governor's School of North Carolina, AGS was founded by governor Bill Clinton in 1979. From 1979 until 2018, the program took place on the grounds of Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. On September 13, 2018, the Arkansas Board of Education voted to move the program to Arkansas Tech in Russellville, Arkansas.
