Silla Bjerrum
Silla Bjerrum is a restaurateur and Chef best known for her expertise in sushi. Early life and career Born in Denmark, Bjerrum's interest in seafood began during childhood holidays by the sea. After studying philosophy, Bjerrum's introduction to Japanese food came in 1994 while studying for a master's degree in sociology at London Goldsmiths college, when she took a job at the Canary Wharf branch of Japanese restaurant Nippon Tuk. It was here that she first tasted sushi and began to pick up the skills required for its preparation, noting its similarities to Danish cuisine, where raw fish is a common ingredient. Her boss at Nippon Tuk was Jeremy Rose, the restaurant entrepreneur who would become her co-founder at Feng Sushi. Bjerrum left Nippon Tuk to work for Birley's, the sandwich chain owned by the socialite Robin Birley. Agostino Scilla
Agostino Scilla (10 August 1629 – 31 May 1700) was an Italian Baroque painter, paleontologist, geologist, numismatist, and a pioneer in the study of fossils and in scientific illustration. In addition to his paintings, he published an early text on paleontology: ''La vana speculazione disingannata dal senso'' ("Vain Speculation Undeceived by Sense", 1670) which was introduced to English audiences by William Wotton of the Royal Society in 1696. He was among the first to promote a scientific understanding of fossils in contrast to fantastic Biblical and divine interpretations. Biography The son of a notary in Messina in Sicily, Scilla studied under Antonio Barbalunga in Messina and later Andrea Sacchi in Rome and became a painter. Felix Anthony Silla (January 11, 1937 – April 16, 2021), also credited as Felix Cilla, was an Italian actor and stuntman, known for his career in Hollywood in TV and film. Silla starting his career in the circus, but is best known especially on television's ''The Addams Family'' as Cousin Itt, a costumed character, that was added exclusively for the TV series, and was not in Charles Addams original comic series Silla featured in the ''Star Wars'' film ''Return of the Jedi'' as one of the hang glider Ewoks.
