Silje Storstein
Silje Storstein (born March 30, 1984, in Oslo) is a Norwegian actress. Storstein was educated at the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre from 2005 to 2008. She has appeared in performances at Det Norske Teatret, Trøndelag Teater, and the National Theater in Oslo. She debuted as Sophie in the 1999 film ''Sophie's World ''Sophie's World'' (Norwegian: ''Sofies verden'') is a 1991 novel by Norwegian writer Jostein Gaarder. It follows Sophie Amundsen, a Norwegian teenager, who is introduced to the history of philosophy as she is asked "Who are you?" in a letter ...'', which was at the time the most expensive Norwegian film made. ''Evita'' is a musical with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice. It concentrates on the life of Argentine political leader Eva Perón, the second wife of Argentine president Juan Perón. The story follows Evita's early life, rise to power, charity work, and death. The musical began as a rock opera concept album released in 1976. Its success led to productions in London's West End in 1978, winning the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Musical, and on Broadway a year later, where it was the first British musical to receive the Tony Award for Best Musical. ''Reisen til Julestjernen'' (Journey to the Christmas Star) is a Norwegian play by Sverre Brandt from 1924. It was performed for the first time on Saint Stephen's Day (December 26), 1924. The play holds the record for the most performances at the National Theatre in Oslo; its 500th performance took place in January 1962. Brandt used the well-known Christmas carol "Silent Night" as a theme for the play. Johan Halvorsen composed the music for the play. The play has also been performed at many other venues in Norway and abroad. Film adaptations Brandt's play was adapted as the film '' Reisen til julestjernen'' in 1976. The film was directed by Ola Solum and starred Hanne Krogh, Knut Risan, and Bente Børsum. In Greek mythology, Ismene (; grc, Ἰσμήνη, ''Ismēnē'') is the daughter and half-sister of Oedipus, daughter and granddaughter of Jocasta, and sister of Antigone, Eteocles, and Polynices. The theatre was founded in 1912, after an initiative from Hulda Garborg and Edvard Drabløs. Antigone (Sophocles Play)
''Antigone'' ( ; grc, Ἀντιγόνη) is an Athenian tragedy written by Sophocles in (or before) 441 BC and first performed at the Festival of Dionysus of the same year. It is thought to be the second oldest surviving play of Sophocles, preceded by ''Ajax'', which was written around the same period. The play is one of a triad of tragedies known as the three Theban plays, following ''Oedipus Rex'' and ''Oedipus at Colonus''.
