Silje Brøns Petersen
Silje Brøns Petersen (born 5 December 1994) is a Danish-German handball player who plays for København Håndbold and since 2022 the German national team. Early life Brøns Petersen comes from the Copenhagen suburb of Herlev. She comes from a handball family: Her father was a player and is now a coach, her mother was a Champions League winner and her older sisters Emilie and Nikoline also play handball professionally as well. Club career As a teenager, Brøns Petersen was part of the Danish team at Rødovre HK and moved to the second division team Virum-Sorgefri HK in 2013. In 2015, she moved to the Nemzeti Bajnokság I club Siófok KC. In Spring 2016, her one-year contract was extended, but in May of the same year the contract was terminated and Petersen returned to Virum-Sorgefri. In December 2016 she moved to HSG Blomberg-Lippe. Herlev
Herlev is a suburb about 9 km northwest of Copenhagen city centre. It is the site of the municipal council of Herlev Municipality, Denmark. Sports Herlev is the hometown of former Vancouver Canuck Jannik Hansen. Herlev is known for its hockey team, the Herlev Hornets. Attractions Herlev Hospital is in height. It is famous for being Denmark's tallest building and the fifth tallest hospital in the world. The Men's EHF Champions League is the most important club handball competition for men's teams in Europe and involves the leading teams from the top European nations. The competition is organised every year by EHF. The official name for the men's competition is the EHF Champions League Men. Russia Women's National Handball Team
The Russia women's national handball team is the national team of Russia. It is governed by the Handball Union of Russia and took part in international handball competitions. In reaction to the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, the International Handball Federation banned Russian and Belarus athletes and officials, and the European Handball Federation suspended the national teams of Russia and Belarus as well as Russian and Belarusian clubs competing in European handball competitions. Hendrikus Franciscus Groener, commonly known as Henk Groener (born 29 September 1960) is a Dutch handball coach, and former handball player. He is the current head coach of Borussia Dortmund Handball, since November 2022. Career He played 208 games with the Netherlands men's national handball team, Dutch national team, scoring 519 goals. From 2002 to 2006 he coached the Dutch national men's team, and since 2009 he has coached the Netherlands women's national handball team, Dutch women's team. The Nemzeti Bajnokság (, "National Championship"), also known as NB I, is the top level of the Hungarian football league system. The league is officially named OTP Bank Liga after its title sponsor OTP Bank. UEFA currently ranks the league 28th in Europe. Twelve teams compete in the league, playing each other three times, once at home, once away, and the third match is played at the stadium that the last match was not played at. Handball
Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins. Modern handball is played on a court of , with a goal in the middle of each end.
