Silent Gunpowder
''Silent Gunpowder'' ( sh, Gluvi barut) is a 1990 Yugoslav war film directed by Bato Čengić, starring Mustafa Nadarević, Branislav Lečić, Fabijan Šovagović, Mira Furlan, Boro Stjepanović and Josip Pejaković. Plot Based on a novel by Branko Ćopić and set during World War II, the film tells the story of a Bosnian Serb village in the mountains of Bosnia and its villagers who found themselves divided along two opposing ideological lines in the face of the Axis invasion and subsequent occupation of the country, represented by the royalist Chetniks and the communist Partisans. These two opposing sides are personified in the Partisan commander nicknamed Španac (lit. "Spaniard", played by Mustafa Nadarević) and a former Royal Army officer Miloš Radekić (played by Branislav Lečić). Branko Ćopić
Branko Ćopić ( sr-cyrl, Бранко Ћопић, ; 1 January 1915 – 26 March 1984) was a Serbian, Bosnian and Yugoslavian writer. He wrote poetry, short stories and novels, and became famous for his stories for children and young adults, often set during World War II in revolutionary Yugoslavia, written with characteristic Ćopić's humor in the form of ridicule, satire and irony. As a professional writer, Ćopić was very popular and was able to sell large number of copies. This allowed him to live solely from his writings, which was rare for the novelists in Yugoslavia at the time. However, quality of his writings brought him inclusion into primary school curriculum, which meant that some of his stories found its way in to the text-books and some novels became compulsory reading. Ideology

Pula Film Festival
Pula Film Festival ( hr, Pulski filmski festival) is an annual Croatian film festival, established in 1954. It is held in a Roman amphitheater known as the Pula Arena. Pula Film Festival is the oldest Croatian film festival and is usually held in the summer, in July or August. Apart from film screenings open to the public, the annual Croatian film industry awards are also traditionally presented at the festival. The awards presented at the festival (called Golden Arenas) are the main national film awards in the country, and they serve as the Croatian equivalent of the American Academy Awards. The festival was originally started in 1954 and within a few years it became the centerpiece event of the Yugoslav film industry, with the first national awards being presented in 1957. Zvonko Lepetić
Zvonimir "Zvonko" Lepetić (17 November 1928 – 4 January 1991) was one of the leading character actors of Croatian and Yugoslav cinema and television. Lepetić was born in Berane, Montenegro. Since 1939, he lived in Sarajevo, where he graduated from gymnasium and was later enrolled at the Drama Studio (''Dramski studio''). In 1953 he joined the Sarajevo National Theatre. After short acting stints in Buje, Šibenik and Zadar, in 1963 Lepetić joined the Croatian National Theatre in Split, where he stayed until 1968 and his move to Zagreb. Radko Polič
Radko Polič (18 August 1942 – 15 September 2022) was a Slovenian theatre, television and film actor. Biography Born in Črnomelj, Polič's family moved to Belgrade in 1945 and then to West Berlin in 1949 before returning to Slovenia and settling in Ljubljana in 1954. He started acting in the early 1960s and during his career spanning over four decades, he played in over 150 theatre and film productions. He starred in stage productions all around Slovenia and appeared in a number of Yugoslav feature films. Polič won numerous awards for his work, including the Golden Arena for Best Actor at the 1976 Pula Film Festival and the Best Actor award at the 10th Moscow International Film Festival for his role in Igor Pretnar's film ''Idealist'', and the Prešeren Award for Life Achievement in 2007. Enver Petrovci
Enver Petrovci (born 28 February 1954 in Pristina) is a Kosovo-Albanian actor, writer and director. He went to high school in Prishtina and completed acting school in Belgrade. Zaim Muzaferija (9 March 1923 – 5 November 2003) was a Bosnian film, television and stage actor, and poet. The magazine ''6yka'' (''Buka'') called Muzaferija a "legend of Bosnian cinema." Biography During World War II, Muzaferija was arrested in 1942 with a group of 36 anti-fascists. In his retirement he became a teacher of German and French. Royal Yugoslav Army
The Yugoslav Army ( sh-Latn-Cyrl, Jugoslovenska vojska, JV, Југословенска војска, ЈВ), commonly the Royal Yugoslav Army, was the land warfare military service branch of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia (originally Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes).
