Sil Sila
Sil Sila (18 February 1993 – after 2014) was an Irish-bred British-trained Thoroughbred racehorse and broodmare. She was not highly regarded as a two-year-old in 1995 but won both of her races at long odds including the Listed Radley Stakes. In the following spring she was placed in both the Fred Darling Stakes and the Musidora Stakes before recording a 30/1 upset victory in the Prix de Diane. She was unplaced on her only subsequent start and retired from racing at the end of the year. She had no success as a broodmare. Background Sil Sila was a bay mare bred in Ireland by her owner Luis Álvarez de Cervera's breeding company L A C International. As a foal in November 1993 she was offered for sale at Goffs but failed to make her modest reserve price of IR£9,500. During her racing career she carried the colours of Álvarez de Cervera's Turquoise Trading. The filly was sent into training with Bryan Smart at Lambourn in Berkshire. Marju
Marju (Chinese: 馬足; 12 March 1988 – 11 October 2016) was a Thoroughbred racehorse and sire. Background Marju was a dark bay or brown horse bred by Kilcarn Stud and owned by Hamdan Al Maktoum. He was sired by Last Tycoon out of Flame of Tara. He was a half-brother to Group One winner Salsabil. Racing career Trained by John Dunlop, Marju raced 7 times during his career and was ridden by Willie Carson each time. He won 3 races including the Craven Stakes and the St. James's Palace Stakes, as well as finishing second to Generous in the 1991 Epsom Derby. He won a total prize money of £282,640. Stud record Retired to stud duty, Marju sired a number of stakes winners including the Soviet Song, My Emma, Sil Sila, Satono Crown, Viva Pataca and Indigenous. He is the damsire of Ramonti. Berkshire

A horse length, or simply length, is a unit of measurement for the length of a horse from nose to tail, approximately . Seb Sanders
Seb Sanders (born 25 September 1971 in Birmingham, England) is a former flat race jockey. Sanders was British Champion Flat Jockey in 2007, a title he shared with Jamie Spencer. Early life Born in Birmingham, Sanders' father, a plumber introduced him to racing by a chance meeting of Tamworth based trainer Bryan McMahon. Sanders himself was keen to be a professional footballer for Birmingham City, but his father was able to secure him work at McMahon's yard. After which, McMahon sent Sanders to the British Racing School in Newmarket. Career Sanders rode his first winner on 12 June 1990 on Band On The Run at Pontefract. In 1994, Sanders moved to Reg Akehurst's yard in Epsom and won the 1995 Champion Apprentice title, with 61 winners. Warwick Racecourse
Warwick Racecourse is a horse racing course in Warwick, England. It is a National Hunt racing course and has a programme of 25 meetings throughout the year, many of which are televised. The first stand was built in 1808, and its most recent redevelopment was completed in 2018. In the racecourse is a nine-hole golf course and a golf driving range. The area is a popular place for local people to walk their dogs. There is parking next to the course and it is a five-minute walk away from the town centre. In horse racing a maiden race is an event for horses that have not won a race. Horses that have not won a race are referred to as maidens. Maiden horse races are held over a variety of distances and under conditions with eligibility based on the sex or age of the horse. Races may be handicaps, set weights, or weight for age. In many countries, maiden races are the lowest level of class and represent an entry point into a racing career. Indigenous () (1993–2004) was an Irish thoroughbred racehorse who also raced in Hong Kong. He was bred by Major John de Burgh at his Oldtown Stud in Naas, County Kildare, Ireland and sold as a yearling for 10,500 guineas at the Goffs Orby Sale in 1994. Purchased by trainer Kevin Prendergast, he was named "Qualtron." Racing in Ireland at age two, he won one of three starts and at age three, won two of five starts. With a record of 3-0-1 in 8 starts, he was sold to Mr. & Mrs. Pang Yuen Hing to race in Hong Kong where he was renamed Indigenous and became widely regarded as one of Hong Kong's best stayers. Viva Pataca () (foaled 7 May 2002) is a British-bred Thoroughbred racehorse, who achieved his greatest success when trained in Hong Kong. Background Bred by the Dukes of Devonshire and Roxburghe, he was out of the mare Comic and sired by English Group One winner, Marju. He was purchased by Neil Greig - Osborne House for 26,000 guineas at the 2003 Tattersalls October Yearling Sale and given the name "Comic Strip." My Emma (foaled 19 March 1993) was a British Thoroughbred racehorse and broodmare. She was lightly campaigned, making only eight racecourse appearances in three seasons. After finishing unplaced on her only start as a two-year-old she began her second season by finishing unplaced in the Lancashire Oaks before winning a minor race at Newmarket. She was then sent to France where she finished third in the Prix de Psyché before recording an upset win in the Group One Prix Vermeille. My Emma returned in 1997 and after finishing third on her seasonal debut she recorded a second Group One success in the Yorkshire Oaks. She was retired from racing at the end of the year and has had some success a broodmare.
