Sikukia
''Sikukia'' is a genus of cyprinid fish found in eastern Asia. There are currently four recognized species in this genus. Its genus name ''Sikukia'', that refers to ''Khlong Sikuk'' ( th, คลองสีกุก), also known as ''Khwae Sikuk'' (แควสีกุก; lit: Sikuk Canal), another name of Noi River was called in Chainat Province (including some areas in Ayutthaya Province), central Thailand. Hugh McCormick Smith, also H. M. Smith (November 21, 1865 – September 28, 1941) was an American ichthyologist and administrator in the United States Bureau of Fisheries. Biography Smith was born in Washington, D.C. In 1888, he received a Doctor of Medicine from Georgetown University; then, in 1908, a Doctor of Law from the Dickinson School of Law at Dickinson College.
