Sihui Dialect
Sihui (), formerly romanized as Szewui, is a county-level city in the west of the Pearl River Delta region in Guangdong province, China. It is administered as part of the prefecture-level city of Zhaoqing. Sihui's population is 542,873 in 2010. History Sihui was initially established during the Qin dynasty (221 bc—207 bc), some historians suggested Sihui first appeared during the Western Han dynasty (206 bc—8 ad), and it is one of the four most ancient counties in Guangdong province (the other three counties are Panyu county, Jieyang county and Longchuan county). Under the Qing, SihuiCounty made up part of the commandery of Zhaoqing. As with much of the surrounding countryside, Sihui was a source for many members of the Chinese diaspora during the late Qing. Sihui () is a transportation node in Beijing. It forms the intersection between the eastern 4th Ring Road and the Jingtong Expressway. Qing Dynasty
The Qing dynasty ( ), officially the Great Qing,, was a Manchu-led imperial dynasty of China and the last orthodox dynasty in Chinese history. It emerged from the Later Jin dynasty founded by the Jianzhou Jurchens, a Tungusic-speaking ethnic group who unified other Jurchen tribes to form a new "Manchu" ethnic identity. The dynasty was officially proclaimed in 1636 in Manchuria (modern-day Northeast China and Outer Manchuria). It seized control of Beijing in 1644, then later expanded its rule over the whole of China proper and Taiwan, and finally expanded into Inner Asia. The dynasty lasted until 1912 when it was overthrown in the Xinhai Revolution. In orthodox Chinese historiography, the Qing dynasty was preceded by the Ming dynasty and succeeded by the Republic of China.
