Sihna Lawrence is a Micronesian civil servant and former secretary of finance of the Federated States of Micronesia The Federated States of Micronesia (; abbreviated FSM) is an island country in Oceania. It consists of four states from west to east, Yap, Chuuk, Pohnpei and Kosraethat are spread across the western Pacific. Together, the states comprise a ... from July 2015 to May 2019. Lawrence worked from 1978 to 1980 in Pohnpei State government in its department of finance. Then she worked from 1980 to 2000 in the Department of Finance of FSM government. She then left for private sector as CFO of FSM Development Bank from 2000 to 2015. Lawrence was appointed and confirmed as secretary of finance to the Department of Finance and Administration on 16 July 2015. She was succeeded by Eugene Amor in 2019. Eugene Amor
Eugene Amor is a Micronesian civil servant and the current Secretary of Finance of Micronesia since 2019. He graduated from Xavier High School in Weno, Chuuk. He attended the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis Maryland, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics. He also completed courses in the University of Pittsburgh. Amor served in various capacities in the FSM Government, including as manager at the tax administration division and assistant secretary of finance for budget and economic management in the Department of Finance. He also worked in the International Monetary Fund in Washington D.C., as economic advisor to the executive director from Asia Pacific Region. Pohnpei State (IPA: pɔ:n peɪ) is one of the four states of the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM). The other states are, from east to west, Kosrae State, Chuuk State, and Yap State. The state's main island is Pohnpei.
