''Sight'' is an upcoming American biographical drama film written and directed by Andrew Hyatt and starring Terry Chen and Greg Kinnear. The film is based on Ming Wang's autobiography ''From Darkness to Sight''. Wang, a Chinese-American medical entrepreneur, will be portrayed by Chen. Wang will also serve as an executive producer. Terry Chen (born February 3, 1975) is a Canadian film and television actor. Early life Chen was born in Edmonton, Alberta, to Taiwanese and Chinese parents originating from Taiwan (father) and mainland China (mother). After primary and secondary education in Edmonton and Vancouver, British Columbia, he briefly studied at the University of Calgary before later moving to Vancouver to pursue acting. He attended Pennsylvania State University and graduated in 1982. While there, he recognized his passion for film, showing recent theatrical movies on campus to raise money for non-profit student organizations. After moving to San Francisco, he began his film career with Columbia Pictures in 1985 as a clerk, and joined Hemdale Film Corporation in 1989, where he was president of distribution and marketing after the company filed for bankruptcy and laid off the C level officers of the company.
