Siempre (Il Divo Album)
''Siempre'' is the fourth studio album by the classical crossover vocal group Il Divo. It was released on 21 November 2006 in the United States and globally on 27 November 2006 by Syco Music and Columbia Records. Background According to producer Steve Mac in an interview with HitQuarters, preparation for the album would involve Simon Cowell compiling a list of around 200 potential songs. Cowell would then whittle this number down to around 40 which he then presented to Mac for consideration. Mac would then tell Cowell which of these would or would not work. When the song list had been reduced to around 18 or 19 songs Mac would then try out the songs with the band to see which worked for them. 15 songs would then be recorded for the album. Il Divo
Il Divo (; ) are a multi-national classical crossover vocal group. The male quartet, which originated in the United Kingdom in December 2003, consists of tenors Urs Bühler, David Miller, and Sébastien Izambard. It also included baritone Carlos Marín before his death from COVID-19 in late 2021. Il Divo was created and promoted by Simon Cowell for the label Syco Music (a subsidiary of Sony Music). Nightcrawlers is a British house music project from Glasgow, Scotland, assembled by producer, DJ and vocalist John Reid (born 6 September 1963). Career Beginnings: 1992–1996 In the early 90s, the band Nightcrawlers was formed as a more soul and funk-influenced pop act and featured vocalist John Reid (who had some local success as a DJ and vocalist with a number of other acts in the late 1980s). Rolf Løvland
Rolf Undsæt Løvland (born 19 April 1955) is a Norwegian composer, lyricist, arranger, and pianist. Together with Fionnuala Sherry, he formed the Celtic-Nordic group Secret Garden, in which he was the composer, producer, and keyboardist. He began composing at an early age (he formed a band at the age of nine) and grew up studying at the Kristiansand Music Conservatory, later receiving his master's degree from the Norwegian Institute of Music in Oslo. Lucio Dalla (; 4 March 1943 – 1 March 2012) was an Italian singer-songwriter, musician and actor. He also played clarinet and keyboards. Dalla was the composer of " Caruso" (1986), a song dedicated to Italian opera tenor Enrico Caruso, and "L'anno che verrà" (1979). Beginnings Dalla was born in Bologna, Italy.
