Benjamin Kevin Siegrist (born 31 January 1992) is a Swiss professional association football, footballer, who plays in the Scottish Premiership for Celtic F.C., Celtic as a goalkeeper. He was a member of the Switzerland national under-23 football team, Switzerland squad at the 2012 Summer Olympics, 2012 Olympic Games in London and went on to represent the Switzerland national under-21 football team, Swiss Under-21s. Siegrist's Mill Covered Bridge
The Siegrist's Mill Covered Bridge is an , Burr Arch Truss covered bridge over Chiques Creek between Rapho and West Hempfield townships, Lancaster County in U.S. state of Pennsylvania. Owned and maintained by the county, its official designation is the Big Chiques #6 Bridge. The bridge's World Guide to Covered Bridges Number is 38-36-37. Added in 1980, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as structure number 80003513. The bridge is less than a mile away from the Forry's Mill Covered Bridge. History The bridge was built in 1885 by James C. Carpenter. It was named after the Siegrist family who lived nearby. The bridge survived Hurricane Agnes in 1972 with only minor damage. However, the bridge was ripped from its foundations and swept downstream on September 8, 2011, by flooding caused by remnants of Tropical Storm Lee. Beatrice Siegrist
Beatrice Houllier Siegrist (born 21 December 1934) is a French composer, music educator, and organist who is best known for winning an Honorable Mention for composition in the Prix de Rome and for her compositions for trombone. Siegrist was born in Paris. She studied music at the Paris Conservatory and the Ecole Normale de Musique. After graduating, she taught solfege at the Toulouse Conservatory and several other schools in Paris and Toulouse. She also worked as an organist in Paris. Siegrist won an Honorable Mention in the Prix de Rome and first prize for counterpoint and fugue at the Ecole Normale de Musique. Her music is published by Editions Francaises de Musique and Editions Musicales Transatlantiques. August Siegrist
August Siegrist (20 May 1865, in Basel – 13 December 1947) was a Swiss ophthalmologist remembered for describing Siegrist streaks. He trained at Basel, Zurich, Lausanne, Vienna and Bern, where he received his M.D. in 1892. He studied further in Bern under Emil Theodor Kocher and in Vienna under Ernst Fuchs. He was habilitated in ophthalmology at Basel in 1900, and in 1903 succeeded Ernst Pflüger as professor of ophthalmology and director of the eye clinic at the University of Bern. He maintained these positions at Bern up until 1935. Nico Siegrist (born 9 June 1991) is a Swiss football striker playing for SC Cham in the Swiss Promotion League. Club career FC Luzern Nico began his career at FC Luzern and headed off to play one season at local team SC Kriens. He made his debut in the Swiss Super League during the 2008-09 season. Siegrist streaks are a rare manifestation of hypertensive choroidopathy. They are described as hyper-pigmented flecks that are arranged in a linear fashion along the choroidal vessels of the eye.
