Sidney Gun-Munro
Sir Sydney Douglas Gun-Munro (29 November 1916 – 1 March 2007) was the first Governor-General of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines from 1979 to 1985. Excellency
Excellency is an honorific style given to certain high-level officers of a sovereign state, officials of an international organization, or members of an aristocracy. Once entitled to the title "Excellency", the holder usually retains the right to that courtesy throughout their lifetime, although in some cases the title is attached to a particular office, and is held only for the duration of that office. A knight is a person granted an honorary title of knighthood by a head of state (including the Pope) or representative for service to the monarch, the church or the country, especially in a military capacity.
