Sidensjö is a Urban areas in Sweden, locality situated in Örnsköldsvik Municipality, Västernorrland County, Sweden with 399 inhabitants in 2010. It is also a parish in the ''Nätra Court District''. History In 1915 the parish comprised 39,416 hectares. By that time Sidensjö was a church district in the Diocese of Härnösand and the northwest deanery of Ångermanland. The parish of Sidensjö today includes 33 smaller villages and covers an area of 389 square kilometres. On January 1, 1952 a joint municipality was formed from the parishes of Sidensjö and Nätra. It was called Nätra municipality and was included into the Örnsköldsvik municipality in 1971. Sidensjö is situated by Lake Bysjön, 23 kilometres west of Örnsköldsvik in Ångermanland. Sidensjö houses 1,191 inhabitants (2004). At the beginning of the 1900s the number of inhabitants was as high as 2500. Sidensjö Church (Sidensjö kyrka) is a medieval church in the Diocese of Härnösand belonging to Sidensjö parish in the community of Sidensjö in Västernorrland County, Sweden. Church of Sweden, Nätra-Sidensjö parish. Retrieved 31 July 2021. Architecture and history The church is a stone building in Romanesque style with a detached Belfry (architecture), belfry in wood. Örnsköldsvik Municipality
Örnsköldsvik Municipality (, ) is one of Sweden's 290 municipalities, in Västernorrland County in northern Sweden. Its seat is in the town Örnsköldsvik. The present municipality was created in 1971 by the amalgamation of the ''City of Örnsköldsvik'' with seven former rural municipalities. Geography Örnsköldsvik is situated near the northern end of the "High Coast", which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has the third longest suspension bridge in Europe, the Höga Kusten Bridge. Johan Niklas Edin (born 6 July 1985) is a Swedish curler. He currently resides in Karlstad, which has been his curling home base since 2008. He holds several sport distinctions. IOGT-NTO is a Swedish temperance society, the Swedish branch of IOGT International. In 2007, it had approximately 46,000 members, in 1,000 local groups. History IOGT-NTO was formed in 1970, through the merger of the Swedish chapter of IOGT with (NTO), a Christian Swedish temperance organisation. IOGT was established in Sweden in 1879, when the first local chapter was started in Klippan, and was then called ''Godtemplarorden''.
