Side B (EP)
''Side B'' is the third and final EP by American singer and songwriter Christina Grimmie. It was released posthumously on April 21, 2017 through Republic Records and Universal Music Group. Grimmie's family had scheduled to release her first single "Invisible" on February 14, 2017. The release was pushed back to February 17, 2017, when Christina's family announced they signed with Republic Records to release her music. On the day of the release of "Invisible", Grimmie's family and producer confirmed that they will be releasing the third EP, ''Side B'', as Christina also confirmed herself before her death on June 10, 2016. Singles *"Invisible" serves as the EP's lead single, released on February 17, 2017. Upon its release, it debuted at number 25 on the Billboard Twitter Top Tracks chart in the US. Christina Grimmie
Christina Victoria Grimmie (March 12, 1994 – June 10, 2016) was an American singer and YouTuber. In 2009, she began posting covers of popular songs onto YouTube. After releasing her debut EP, '' Find Me'' (2011), her YouTube channel reached one million subscribers. After she reached two million subscribers, she released her debut studio album, ''With Love'' (2013). Grimmie then became a contestant on season six of ''The Voice'', finishing in third place. Adam Levine, her coach on the show, announced in the finale that, regardless of the results, he would sign her to his label 222 Records. Lil Wayne also offered to sign her to his label, Young Money Entertainment. She was signed with Island Records for a short time before being dropped. The Voice (American Season 6)
The sixth season of the American reality talent show ''The Voice'' premiered on February 24, 2014, on NBC. Carson Daly returned to host. Adam Levine and Blake Shelton returned as coaches for their sixth season, while Shakira and Usher returned for their second (of their two of them) season after being replaced by original coaches Christina Aguilera and CeeLo Green in season five. This was the last season to feature Shakira and Usher as coaches. The Instant Save which first introduced last season returned with a new change which eligible artists performed an additional song. Knockout rounds did not appear this season, although a similar second Battle round took its place. This is the last of the four consecutive seasons to feature a final three, and would increase the finalists to four beginning on the next season.
