Siddy (film)
''Siddy'' is an upcoming Indian Malayalam-language thriller film, directed by Pious Raj for producer Maheswaran Nandagopal. The film stars Aji John and former International Football player, footballer I M Vijayan in lead roles. The debut directorial is heavily inspired by Fyodor Dostoevsky' s Crime and Punishment. Principal photography started in August 2021 and the film will also be dubbed into Tamil. Summary ''Siddy'' is the journey through the life and mind of a law student who turns into a murderer. I M Vijayan
Inivalappil Mani Vijayan (born 25 April 1969), also known by the nickname Kalo Harin (Blackbuck), is a former professional football player who also captained the India national football team. He played as a striker, where he formed a successful attacking partnership with Bhaichung Bhutia for the India national football team in the late nineties and early 2000s. Vijayan was crowned Indian Player of the Year in 1993, 1997 and 1999, the first player to win the award multiple times. He was also awarded the Arjuna Award in 2003. Vijayan started his career with the Kerala Police football club and rose to become one of the top names in domestic football. A highly aggressive player, he eventually became the highest earner in Indian club football as well as a regular choice in the Indian team. ''Hotel California'' is a 2013 Malayalam comedy caper film written by Anoop Menon and directed by newcomer Aji John. It stars Jayasurya, Anoop Menon, Saiju Kurup, Shankar, Honey Rose, Maria Roy and Aparna Nair. The film is produced by Josemon Simon under the banner of Jairaj Films and features music composed by Shaan Rahman, whilst cinematography is handled by Jithu Damodar and is edited by Xian. Hindustani classical music is the classical music of northern regions of the Indian subcontinent. It may also be called North Indian classical music or, in Hindustani, ''shastriya sangeet'' (). Kovalam is a region in the city of Trivandrum, around 13 km southwest of the city center, whose beaches are a tourist destination. Etymology Kovalam means "coconut grove," after the coconut trees which are common there.
