"My Whole World Is Falling Down" is a song written by Bill Anderson and Jerry Crutchfield and performed by Brenda Lee. Its chorus is based on the nursery rhyme "London Bridge Is Falling Down". The song reached #8 on the Adult Contemporary chart and #24 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 in 1963. The song is featured on her 1964 album, '' By Request''. The song also reached #16 in Australia. Brenda Lee's recording of the song appeared in the 1982 Costa-Gavras film '' Missing''. Sylvie Vartan version (in French) Sylvie Vartan released a French version titled "Si je chante" as part of an eponymous EP in 1963. Brenda Mae Tarpley (born December 11, 1944), known professionally as Brenda Lee, is an American singer. Performing rockabilly, pop and country music, she had 47 US chart hits during the 1960s and is ranked fourth in that decade, surpassed only by Elvis Presley, the Beatles and Ray Charles. She is known for her 1960 hit " I'm Sorry" and 1958's "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree", which has become a Christmas standard. Mona Gustafsson, born 9 August 1956 in Halmstad, Sweden, is a Swedish singer, songwriter and guitarist. Earlier, she used to sing with Leif Bloms, but as the band was disestablished on 31 December 1995, she established another dansband in 1996, Mona G:s orkester, which was disestablished in January 2009, and she started a country music career. She was nominated as "Female Singer of the Year 2006" by SR P4, and in the Får jag lov magazines Guldklaven voting. Donald Lautrec (born Donald Bourgeois, July 13, 1940 in Jonquière, Quebec) is a Canadian (Quebec) singer and actor. Career With a friend in 1957, Lautrec created the acrobatic duo, ''Don and Lee'', which performed on trampolines throughout Canada and the United States. He then mixed in the entertainment world by working as a lighting technician, a master of ceremonies in several Montreal cabarets and, for a short time, as a bodyguard to Québécois singer Michel Louvain. He then met impresario Yvan Dufresne, who had discovered Louvain, and asked him to help launch his own singing career. Dufresne accepted and, in 1961, booked Lautrec in the Hotel Central Saint-Martin in Laval, Quebec.
