Shy'm Albums
Tamara Marthe (born 28 November 1985), better known as Shy'm , is a French singer. She released her first album, ''Mes fantaisies'', in 2006 and has since released six more albums. She had three Platinum albums, including her number-one 2012 album, ''Caméléon''. In 2012, 2013 and 2015 she received the NRJ Music Award for Francophone Female Artist of the Year. Early life Tamara Marthe was born on 28 November 1985 in Trappes (a suburb west of Paris), France to a Metropolitan French mother and a father from Martinique, in a family oriented to music and creative arts. A fan of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Beyoncé, she nevertheless grew up to the sound of zouk—a French Caribbean music genre—and R&B. From an early age, she became interested in dancing and singing. Trappes () is a Communes of France, commune in the Yvelines departments of France, department, region of Île-de-France, north-central France. Dance music is music composed specifically to facilitate or accompany dancing. It can be either a whole musical piece or part of a larger musical arrangement. Caméléon
Chameleons or chamaeleons (family Chamaeleonidae) are a distinctive and highly specialized clade of Old World lizards with 202 species described as of June 2015. The members of this family are best known for their distinct range of colors, being capable of shifting to different hues and degrees of brightness. Synthpop
Synth-pop (short for synthesizer pop; also called techno-pop; ) is a subgenre of new wave music that first became prominent in the late 1970s and features the synthesizer as the dominant musical instrument. ''Prendre l'air'' is the third album by French singer Shy'm. It was released in June 2010 and five singles ("Je sais", "Je suis moi", "Prendre l'air", "Tourne" and "En apesanteur") have been released. A departure from the R&B sound that Shy'm had previously been accustomed to, ''Prendre l'air'' showed a more pop-oriented side to her musical persona. The album debuted on the French album chart at #6, and has since gone on to be certified 3× Platinum, becoming Shy'm's most successful album. ''Reflets'' is the second album by the French singer Shy'm, following 2006 ''Mes fantaisies''. A more mature album than Shy'm's début, ''Reflets'' experimented more with electronic music. The album was released in September 2008 and débuted at #4 in France, but failed to match the success of ''Mes fantaisies''. Three singles were taken from the album, including #2 hit "Si tu savais". The album was written and produced by longtime Shy'm collaborators Cyril Kamar and Louis Côté. Soul music is a popular music genre that originated in the African American community throughout the United States in the late 1950s and early 1960s. It has its roots in African-American gospel music and rhythm and blues. Soul music became popular for dancing and listening, where U.S. record labels such as Motown, Atlantic and Stax were influential during the Civil Rights Movement. ''Fort Boyard'' is a French game show created by Jacques Antoine that was first broadcast on 7 July 1990 (originally as ''Les Clés de Fort Boyard'', however shortened to ''Fort Boyard'' from the second series in 1991). Foreign versions of the show, with varying success, have aired around the world since 1990. Set and filmed on the real fortress of the same name on the west coast of France, the programme appears similar to British game show '' The Crystal Maze'' which was created as an alternative format by Antoine for Channel 4 in the United Kingdom, after the fortress was unavailable to film in because of its then ongoing refurbishment (during 1989).
