Shun White
Shun White (born December 9, 1985) is a former American football wide receiver. White was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and lived there through High School where he attended Raleigh-Egypt High School. College career During college, he played for Navy where he played running back, White was Navy's sixth leading rusher of all time, he ran for a career-high 1,092 yards during his senior season in 2008 and set a Navy record when he rushed for 348 yards in a single game against Towson. White was the 200-meter champion and finished second in the 100-meter dash at the Patriot League Outdoor Track & Field Championship, he holds the school record in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.87 seconds. Professional career The New England Patriots signed White as an undrafted free agent following the 2009 NFL Draft, and he was later placed on the Reserve/Military list. The Tulsa Golden Hurricane football program represents the University of Tulsa in college football at the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) level. Raleigh-Egypt High School
Raleigh-Egypt High School (REHS) is a secondary school (grades 9–12) located at 3970 Voltaire Road in Raleigh, a section of Memphis, Tennessee, United States. It is part of the Shelby County Schools district. It shares a campus with Egypt Central Elementary School and Raleigh-Egypt Middle School. The high school has an enrollment of 595 as of school year 2019–2020. When REHS was built in 1969, it was part of the Shelby County School System. It came under the Memphis City School system after Raleigh was annexed by Memphis in 1972. In 2014, Shelby County Schools retook control of Raleigh-Egypt High School and all other Memphis City Schools. REHS was racially integrated at its beginning but, like the rest of the Shelby County Schools, has since resegregated due to white flight. Currently, 82% of students are Black and 14% are Hispanic. Navy Midshipmen Football
The Navy Midshipmen football team represents the United States Naval Academy in NCAA Division I FBS (Football Bowl Subdivision) college football. The Naval Academy completed its final season as an FBS independent school (not in a conference) in 2014, and became a single-sport member of the American Athletic Conference beginning in the 2015 season. The team is currently coached by Brian Newberry, who was promoted in 2022, following his stint as the Midshipmen defensive coordinator. Navy has 19 players and three coaches in the College Football Hall of Fame and won the college football national championship in 1926 according to the Boand and Houlgate poll systems.
