Shumete Gizaw ( Amharic: ሹመቴ ግዛው) is an Ethiopian politician, researcher and educator who was served as the Director General of the Information Network Security Agency from 2020 to 2022. Previously, he has been the former Chief of Staff of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, and the former State Minister of Science and Technology. Outside of politics, he is a motivational speaker and researcher who published many scientific and research articles in international and reputable journals. Information Network Security Agency
The Information Network Security Administration or INSA ( am, የመረጃ መረብ ደህንነት አስተዳደር , translit=yämäräǧa märäbə dähənənätə ʾäsətädadär) is the national signals intelligence and cybersecurity agency of Ethiopia, founded by Abiy Ahmed when the Ethiopian People's Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF) was the ruling party of Ethiopia. Creation The Information Network Security Administration was founded by Abiy Ahmed, who later (in 2018) became Prime Minister of Ethiopia, during the EPRDF's period in power.
