Emil Schulz (25 May 1938 – 22 March 2010) was a German amateur boxer and five-time national champion, who lost only 21 of his 223 fights. He competed for the United Team of Germany at the 1964 Olympics in the middleweight division and won a silver medal. Josef Schulz
Josef Schulz (1909/1910 – 20 July 1941), also spelled Joseph Schultz, was a German soldier of the 714th Infantry Division stationed in German-occupied Serbia during World War II. He died in 1941, allegedly executed after refusing to take part in an execution of Partisan (military), partisans. The Oberkommando der Wehrmacht, German High Command recorded him as killed in action. The plot of the Yugoslav short film ''Joseph Schultz'' (1973) is based on the incident. Johann Abraham Peter Schulz
Johann Abraham Peter Schulz (31 March 1747, Lüneburg – 10 June 1800, Schwedt) was a German musician. He is best known as the composer of the melody for Matthias Claudius's poems "Der Mond ist aufgegangen" and " Wir pflügen und wir streuen", and the Christmas carol "Ihr Kinderlein kommet". Life Schulz attended St. Michaelis school in Lüneburg from 1757 to 1759 and then the Johanneum there from 1759 to 1764. Hugo Paul Friedrich Schulz (August 6, 1853 – July 13, 1932) was a German pharmacologist from Wesel, Rhenish Prussia. He studied medicine in the universities of Heidelberg and Bonn, where he did scientific work in the physiological institute of Eduard Friedrich Wilhelm Pflüger (1829-1910). In 1877 he earned his doctorate, and afterwards worked in the pharmacological institute of Karl Binz (1832-1913) at Bonn. In 1883 he was appointed professor of pharmacology at the University of Greifswald. Schulz is known for his research of a phenomenon known as hormesis, showing that toxins can have the opposite effect in small doses than in large doses. This he demonstrated in experiments using chemical compounds on yeast cells. Hermann Schulz (24 August 1872 – 20 August 1929) was a German social democratic politician, a member of the Weimar National Assembly and the Weimar German parliament. Schulz was born in Elbing, West Prussia (Elbląg, Poland). He was trained as a metal worker and worked as a lathe operator in Berlin from 1900 to 1911.
