Shuffler
Shuffler are an English funk band formed in London in 2011 with a debut concert at the Jazz Café. The collective recorded their self-titled debut studio album, ''Shuffler'' in 2013. It has yet to be officially released although some promotional copies were distributed. The band is made up of Daniel Pearce on lead vocals and percussions, Paul Turner on bass, Rob Harris on guitar and Derrick McKenzie on drums. It has following in both United Kingdom and Europe. The members of the band, that play original materials as well as stylized covers, have had great musicianship experience. Daniel Pearce was in '' Popstars: The Rivals'' in 2002 and part of the boy band that resulted from the show called One True Voice. In 2009, he auditioned for the 2009 series of '' The X Factor'', but failed to progress as far as the live finals. Daniel Pearce (musician, Born 1978)
Daniel Pearce (born 29 May 1978) is an English singer, songwriter and actor who was a finalist on the ITV reality TV show '' Popstars: The Rivals''. He won a place in the British boy band One True Voice, who subsequently released two top ten singles, " Sacred Trust"/"After You're Gone" and "Shakespeare's (Way With) Words". Pearce, an arranger and co-writer of some of their songs, left the group in summer 2003, shortly before the band split up. In September 2009, he auditioned for the 2009 series of ''The X Factor'', but failed to progress as far as the live finals. In 2010, he returned as backing vocalist on a hit entitled "Dirtee Disco", a UK No. 1 single by Dizzee Rascal, featuring Pearce. Paul Turner (bassist)
Paul Turner (born 11 March 1968) is English musician who has been the bassist of the jazz-funk band Jamiroquai since 2005. He has also performed with Annie Lennox since 2002. Biography Paul Turner was born in March 1968 in London. As a child turner listened to soul singers such as Ruby Turner and Edwin Starr. In his career as a bassist, Turner has recorded and/or performed live with artists including Tina Turner, Bryan Ferry, Tom Jones and George Michael, Take That, Gary Barlow and 911. Begging in 2002, Turner has recorded and performed with Annie Lennox. He joined the jazz-funk band Jamiroquai in 2005 and has recorded and performed live with the band ever since. Between Jamiroquai commitments, Paul is active in many genres of music and in a variety of surroundings. The X Factor (UK)
''The X Factor'' is a British reality television music competition, created by Simon Cowell. ''The Rivals'' is a comedy of manners by Richard Brinsley Sheridan in five acts which was first performed at Covent Garden Theatre on 17 January 1775. The story has been updated in numerous adaptions, including a 1935 musical in London and a 1958 episode of the television series ''Maverick'' (see below) starring James Garner and Roger Moore, with attribution.
