Shrutika
Shrutika Arjun (b. 1986) is an Indian actress, entrepreneur and television personality who appeared in Tamil-language films. After two years of acting, she quit the entertainment industry, but returned in 2022 with the third season of the reality series '' Cooku with Comali'', of which she emerged the winner. Personal life Shrutika was born in 1986 to Sivasankar and Kalpana. Her paternal grandfather is actor Thengai Srinivasan. She studied in Adarsh Vidyalaya Higher Secondary School, Chennai. Her cousin Yogi and brother Adithya are actors. She is married to businessman Arjun, and they have one son. In 2018, Shrutika founded Haappy Herbs, an Ayurvedic skin brand. Career At age 16, Shrutika was picked to star in ''Sri'' (2002) opposite Suriya. A critic noted that the two make a "nice screen pair". Thengai Srinivasan
Thengai Srinivasan (21 October 1937 – 9 November 1987) was an Indian actor who appeared in Tamil language, Tamil-language films and plays from the 1960s to the 1980s. He was given the prefix ''Thengai'' (coconut) after his role as a coconut-seller in the play ''Kal Manam''. Although originally a comedian, he also performed in other genres and enacted several lead and antagonistic roles. Early life Srinivasan was born to Rajavel Mudaliar (Chennai) and Subammal (Srivaikuntam in Tuticorin district) on 21 October 1937. He had two sisters. When he was seven years old, his family moved to Chennai. Srinivasan's father was an artist who staged several plays and it was his influence which stimulated Srinivasan's interest in an acting career. ''Album'' is a 2002 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film written and directed by Vasanthabalan making his directorial debut, starring newcomer Rajesh and Shrutika. The story portrays the love and affection between two families. The film, produced by Kavithalayaa Productions, was Vasanthabalan's directorial debut and became an average success. It is however best known for featuring the popular chartbuster track "Chellame Chellam" from Karthik Raja's soundtrack to the film, which was award-winning playback singer Shreya Ghoshal's first song in Tamil language. The plot revolves around Jeeva and Viji's family who are neighbours to each other. Viji falls in love with Jeeva and they both start loving each other.
