Christine Margaret Shrimpton (born 15 July 1945) is an English former 1960s model and actress. Personal life Shrimpton is model Jean Shrimpton's younger sister and was the girlfriend of the Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger from 1963 to 1966. According to the Stones biographer Stephen Davis, their 1966 album ''Aftermath'' was a source of embarrassment for Shrimpton, since "people generally identified her with the lbum'sscathing put-downs", and that it led to an argument she and Jagger had while attending a party hosted by Guinness heir Tara Browne in April 1966. Herbert Shrimpton
Herbert John Donald Shrimpton (12 April 1903 – 12 March 1979) was an English cricketer. Shrimpton was a right-handed batsman who bowled leg break. He was born at Worcester, Worcestershire, and attended the University of Bristol. Shrimpton made his first-class debut for Gloucestershire against Middlesex in the 1923 County Championship at Lord's. Shrimpton made two further first-class appearances for the county in 1923, against Leicestershire at Aylestone Road, Leicester, and Yorkshire at Greenbank Cricket Ground, Bristol. In his three first-class matches, he scored 26 runs at an average of 5.20, with a high score of 14. He died at Southwark, London, on 12 March 1979. Distant Soundz is one of the pseudonyms of British electronic dance musician, Mark Shrimpton. Shrimpton has released various singles on vinyl and CD under the name. Notable singles In early 2002, Distant Soundz recorded and released a garage cover of Cyndi Lauper's 1984 ballad, " Time After Time" with singer Robbie Beaumont, who made an appearance on ''Never Mind the Buzzcocks'' in the 'Identity Parade' round promoting the re-release of the single. The track received considerable airplay in the UK, and a video was made. Shrimpton performed the hit live on various TV appearances including Channel 4, BBC Wales, and on BBC One's ''Top of the Pops''. The cover is also credited as one of the few UK garage records to be played on BBC Radio 2, with Steve Wright championing the single on his afternoon show. Michael Shrimpton (born 9 March 1957) is an English former barrister and judge who is known for his conspiracy theories and hoaxes. He was convicted in 2014 for falsely reporting that Germany was planning a nuclear attack on the 2012 Summer Olympics. Professional career Shrimpton studied at University College, Cardiff (now Cardiff University) and was called to the Bar by Gray's Inn in November 1983. He practised law as a barrister and sat as a part-time immigration judge. In 1998, Shrimpton chaired the Rolls-Royce Action Committee and Crewe Motors, two failed attempts to buy the British car manufacturer Rolls-Royce Motors from Vickers; the sale was made to Volkswagen. Michael John Froud Shrimpton (23 June 1940 – 13 June 2015) was a New Zealand cricketer and coach. A middle-order batsman and leg-spinner, he played 10 Tests from 1963 to 1974, but was never able to establish himself in the side. He played for Central Districts in New Zealand domestic cricket from 1961–62 to 1979–80, except for 1974–75, when he played for Northern Districts. Cricket career 1960s Shrimpton's first first-class century came in the last match of his debut season in 1961–62, when he scored 119, helping to save the game after Central Districts had trailed Canterbury by 230 runs on the first innings.
