Show Dem Camp (SDC) is a Nigerian rap duo composed of Wale Davies (Tec) and Olumide Ayeni (Ghost) Personal lives The duo were born in Nigeria but lived and grew up in European cities and the United States before returning to Lagos to pursue a career in music. Tec was working in finance in Amsterdam prior to moving to Nigeria. Career Tec and Ghost were solo rap artists, till they met at a battleground only to discover they had the same stage name "Golden Child". They soon came together afterward to form a rap duo with evolving stage names Loose Cannonz, BlackBoysDown, Third Eye Renegades and they eventually settled for Show Dem Camp. They have transitioned from being not just only rappers but to being a record label owner. Their first mixtape titled Clone Wars Vol. 1 dropped in the year 2010. Ladipoe
Ladipo Eso popularly known as Ladipoe or Poe is a Nigerian Rapper & musician. On 28 February 2017, Ladipoe signed a record deal with Mavin Records. He rose to prominence with the song "Feel Alright" where he got featured by SDC "Show Dem Camp". He also released a new single "Jaiye" in March 2019 before dropping the hit song, "Know You" featuring Nigerian Joromi singer, Simi. He is also a member of the Nigerian supergroup Collectiv3. Early life and education Ladipoe was born and raised in Lagos. He attended the University of North Carolina at Pembroke majoring in both Biology & Chemistry. Alté
Alté (locally pronounced as "uhl-teh"), is a fusion genre of music that combines elements of afrobeats, dancehall, reggae, hip hop, and alternative R&B. The term was coined in the 2010s by Nigerian music group DRB LasGidi, meaning alternative and "individualistic and non-traditional modes of self-expression" through music and fashion. Characteristics Alté fuses a wide array of musical influences from Afrobeats, rap, R&B, soul, dancehall, and others. The term was coined by DRB LasGidi members and was first heard on Boj's 2014 song "Paper", it was later used to describe left-field styles of music. Temilade Openiyi (born 11 June 1995), known professionally as Tems, is a Nigerian singer. She rose to prominence after she was featured on Wizkid's 2020 single "Essence," which reached the top ten of the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 after the release of a remixed version with an additional feature from Justin Bieber, and earned her a Grammy Award nomination. Ayo Ayoku better known by his stage name Wani, is an American-Nigerian Alté musician. The Headies (originally called the Hip Hop World Awards) is a music awards show established in 2006 by the ''Hip Hop World Magazine'' of Nigeria to recognize outstanding achievements in the Nigerian music industry.
