Should've Known Better (Soluna Samay Song)
Denmark participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with the song "Should've Known Better" written by Chief 1, Remee and Isam B. The song was performed by Soluna Samay. The Danish broadcaster DR organised the national final ''Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2012'' in order to select the Danish entry for the 2012 contest in Baku, Azerbaijan. Ten songs competed in a televised show where "Should've Known Better" performed by Soluna Samay was the winner as decided upon through the combination of jury voting and public voting over two rounds. Denmark was drawn to compete in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 22 May 2012. Performing during the show in position 13, "Should've Known Better" was announced among the top 10 entries of the first semi-final and therefore qualified to compete in the final on 26 May. Soluna Samay Kettel (born 27 August 1990, Guatemala City, Guatemala) is a Guatemalan-Danish singer of Swiss and German origin based in Denmark. Samay represented Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012, Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan with her entry "Should've Known Better (Soluna Samay song), Should've Known Better." Gigantium
The Gigantium (called ''Sparekassen Danmark Arena'' for sponsoring reasons), in Aalborg, Denmark, is a large, rentable faire building, which hosts a large variety of concerts, markets and exhibitions, among other things. It has a capacity of 5,000 people. For concerts, the capacity is 8,500 people. In addition, there is an ice rink/arena for training purposes, a swimming pool and an athletics hall within the sports complex. The main arena building was severely damaged by a fire on 5 July 2017. Morten Rask Hampenberg (born 14 January 1977) is a Danish music producer known for both his solo work and his cooperation with the musician Alexander Brown. In his early solo career, he only used his family name and was therefore known as Hampenberg until 2008. In 2009 he began using his full name both in his solo work and joint releases with Brown. Engelina Andrina Larsen (born 1978) is a Danish singer and songwriter who is best known for writing and providing the vocals for DJ Encore's "I See Right Through to You", which was a number-one hit in her native Denmark. Suriya (singer)
S.O.A.P. were a Danish pop music duo made up of the two sisters Heidi "Suriya" Sørensen (born 18 October 1979) and Saseline "Line" Sørensen (born 26 July 1982). Christian Brøns Petersen (born 1977) is a Danish singer. In 2001, Christian took part in the first season of TV Danmark's reality television series '' Big Brother'', but withdrew in protest. Charlotte Fenger (born 2 December 1961), known by the stage name Søs Fenger, is a Danish vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter. Since the mid 1980s she has been one of the most successful names in Danish music. She has released numerous albums, both as a solo artist and in collaboration with other groups.
