Shota Chomakhidze
Shota Chomakhidze (born 17 November 1978) is a retired footballer. Club career Born in Samtredia, Chomakhidze began playing football for FC Samtredia. He joined Georgian first division side FC Dinamo Tbilisi in 1999, and won the Georgian championship with the club. He played for Armenian Premier League side Ulisses during 2007. In 2000, he joined Ukrainian Premier League side FC Nyva Ternopil. Samtredia
Samtredia ( ka, სამტრედია ) is a town in Imereti, Georgia, lying in a lowland between the rivers Rioni and Tskhenis-Tsqali, west of the capital Tbilisi, and west of Georgia's second largest city Kutaisi. FC Merani Martvili is a Georgian association football club based in Martvili, which currently takes part in Liga 2, the second division of Georgian league system. Being one of the youngest clubs, Merani have spent five seasons in the top division and once reached the final of David Kipiani Cup. The Georgia national football team ( ka, საქართველოს ეროვნული საფეხბურთო ნაკრები, tr) represents the country of Georgia in men's international football matches, and it is controlled by the Georgian Football Federation.
