''Shopner Thikana'' ( bn, স্বপ্নের ঠিকানা; Translation: ''The Address of the Dream'') is a Bangladeshi feature film released on 11 May 1995 directed by M. A. Khaleq. This romantic drama film was released on Eid vacation and was a huge success throughout Bangladesh. Plot The rich Sumon and poor Sumi Chowdhury are two class friends from childhood, and immediately fall in love. Farha, his other childhood friend and the only daughter of his father's affluent friend and co-partner also loves Sumon but Sumon thinks of her as just a friend. Sumon's parents and Farha's father fix their marriage which excites her more. Sumon immediately rejects it because he loves Sumi. When he tells Farha this, she becomes very heartbroken and jealous and vows to break them up. Shahriar Chowdhury Emon (19 September 1971 – 6 September 1996) known by his stage name Salman Shah was a Bangladeshi film and television actor. He started his career with the first episode of the television serial ''Pathor Shomoy''. He got breakthrough for his role in the film ''Keyamat Theke Keyamat''. His death in 1996 was ruled as a suicide, a claim that is disputed by his family. Runa Laila ( bn, রুনা লায়লা, ur, ; born 17 November 1952) is a Bangladeshi playback singer and composer. She started her career in Pakistan film industry in the late 1960s. Sabina Yasmin (born 4 September 1953) is a Bangladeshi singer. She is best known as a playback singer in Bengali cinema. She has won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Female Playback Singer a record 14 times. She has recorded more than 1,500 songs for films and over 10,000 songs in total.
