''Shondham 16'' is a 1989 Indian Tamil-language film written, directed and co-produced by T. S. Krishna Kumar. The film stars Mohan and debutante Kalyani. Plot Mohan plays an orphan attempting to marry the girl he is in love with. Challenges crop up when his would-be father-in-law has a condition that the groom should have a large joint family. Desperate to marry her, he lies he has sixteen relatives who live with him and sets his office colleagues up as his relatives. However, upon seeing that all his relatives depend on him for everything, the father-in-law changes his mind deciding that all relatives are self-serving. Mohan (actor)
Mohan (born 23 August 1956) is an Indian actor, known for his works predominantly in Tamil cinema, and a few Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam films. He is also known as "Kokila Mohan" after his debut film '' Kokila'' (1977), and "Mic Mohan" from numerous roles playing singers using microphones. In 1982, he received the Filmfare Award for Best Tamil Actor for his work in ''Payanangal Mudivathillai''. Career Mohan was introduced to the world of theatre by B. V. Karanth, who spotted him at a restaurant. Mohan's first stage play was praised by critics from places like Delhi. The magazine was established by Kalki Krishnamurthy, a popular Tamil language, Tamil novelist and Indian freedom fighter, in 1941. Kalki Sadasivam, T Sadasivam was the magazine's co-founder. Nagoor Babu, known by his stage name Mano, is an Indian playback singer, voice-over artist, actor, producer, television anchor and composer. Shankar–Ganesh is an Indian music director duo who has worked on Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada movies for around 50 years. Career They started as assistants to Tamil music composers M. S. Viswanathan and T. K. Ramamoorthy in 1964 and later the duo assisted M.S.Viswanathan alone from 1965 till 1967.
