Shondell Alfred
Shondell Alfred (born 7 July 1982) is a Guyanese former professional boxer who competed between 1999 and 2010. She held the WIBA bantamweight title from 2009 to 2010. Professional career Alfred made her professional boxing debut on 19 February 1999, beating Stephanie George by a four-round decision at Georgetown. After two more four-round decision wins, she went to Canada, where she would have her next two bouts: On 9 June 2000, she was stopped by Doris Hackl in the fourth round of a bout between undefeated fighters that was held in Halifax, and, on 23 September she suffered her second knockout loss in a row, defeated by Lisa Brown in two rounds at the Ontario location of Rama. After losing to Brown, she returned home, where she defeated Joenette Toby on 6 August 2001, also by a four-round decision. Alicia Ashley (born August 23, 1967) is a women's boxing participant who is the former WBC female world super bantamweight champion. Ashley is a Jamaican-American. Born in Jamaica, she moved to the United States at a young age. She is the younger sister of chess grandmaster Maurice Ashley and former world kickboxing champion Devon Ashley. Career Ashley began her professional boxing career on January 29, 1999, defeating Lisa Howarth by a six-round split decision, at Atlantic City, New Jersey. On her second professional boxing fight, held at Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, she suffered her first defeat, when she was outpointed over six rounds by Doris Hackl on June 20 of that year. Rama is a First Nations in Canada, First Nations community on the Chippewas of Rama First Nation reserve in Ontario, Canada. It is the home of Casino Rama. The community sports complex is called the Mnjikaning Arena Sports Ki, which was the home arena of the Couchiching Terriers ice hockey team, once affiliated with the Barrie Colts. Casino Rama is a large casino, hotel, and entertainment complex located in the town of Rama, Ontario on the reserve land of the Chippewas of Rama First Nation. It is jointly owned by the Chippewas of Rama First Nation and the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, with operation of the casino contracted to Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited. Wildey, Barbados
The Wildey area of the Parish of Saint Michael located roughly 4 km east of Bridgetown, it lies on the border with the Parish of Christ Church. Normally a very busy area with the ABC Highway, Wildey is one of the main convergence points for vehicles travelling either towards the capital-city Bridgetown or towards points in northern Barbados. In recent years the area was reconfigured for traffic mitigation, the tri-directional split or fork in the highway formerly known as the "Wildey Y" was changed to only allow southbound traffic to turn left or right on to Wildey Road only. Northbound traffic must now travel on Wildey Road to Highway R road which brings traffic back to BET hill. Princes Town is a town within the Princes Town Regional Corporation, located on southern Trinidad island in Trinidad and Tobago. The population of the town is 28,335. History Founded as the Amerindian '' Mission of Savana Grande'', the town was renamed after the 1880 visit by Queen Victoria's grandsons, Prince Albert and Prince George (later King George V).
