The Order of the Solar Temple (french: Ordre du Temple solaire, OTS) and the International Chivalric Organization of the Solar Tradition, or simply The Solar Temple, is a cult and religious sect that claims to be based upon the ideals of the Knights Templar. Motor vehicle theft (also known as a car theft and, in the United States, grand theft auto) is the criminal act of stealing or attempting to steal a motor vehicle. Alice Winocour (born 13 January 1976) is a French screenwriter and director. Life and career Winocour was born in Paris, France, to a Jewish family. After studying screenwriting at La Fémis, Winocour made three short films and wrote the script for Vladimir Perisic's film ''Ordinary People'' (released in 2009). Winocour's first feature film, ''Augustine'', based on the relationship between Professor Charcot and his patient Augustine, was presented at the Cannes Film Festival in 2012 as part of the Critics' Week. Michel Peiry (born February 28, 1959), known as The Sadist of Romont, is a Swiss serial killer who killed 5 people between 1981 and 1987. Described as the worst serial killer known in Switzerland since the Second World War, 11 murders were attributed to him, all of them carried out in the same way: he would take young teenage hitchhikers, tie them up, violate or sexually abuse them, then finally kill them and burn the corpses afterwards. Salvan is a municipality in the district of Saint-Maurice, in the canton of Valais, Switzerland. History Salvan is first mentioned in 1018 as ''cum Silvano''. Around 1025-31 it was mentioned as ''in monte Salvano''. The municipality was formerly known by its German name ''Scharwang'', however, that name is no longer used.
