Shkëlzen Doli
Shkëlzen Doli (born August the 9th, 1971 in Elbasan, People's Socialist Republic of Albania, Albania, and grew up in Gjakova, Kosovo) is an Albanian violinist. In 1980, he began to play the violin. From 1987 to 1991, he studied at the music school in Novi Sad under Ewgenia Tschugueva. In 1989 he won his first prize at the Yugoslavian youth music contest in Sarajevo. In 1992 he began his music studies at Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien, University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna taking lessons from Dora Schwarzberg, Michael Frischenschlager and Josef Hell. A short time later, he became a substitute for the Vienna State Opera Orchestra. And now has been a member of the second violin section. Elbasan
Elbasan ( ; sq-definite, Elbasani ) is the fourth most populous city of Albania and seat of Elbasan County and Elbasan Municipality. It lies to the north of the river Shkumbin between the Skanderbeg Mountains and the Myzeqe Plain in central Albania. Michael Frischenschlager
Michael Frischenschlager (born 31 October 1935) is an Austrian violinist. Life Born in Salzburg, Frischenschlager studied violin with Theodor Müller, André Gertler, Franz Samohyl and Yehudi Menuhin as well as conducting and musicology in Salzburg, Cologne, Vienna and Rome. He played with the Vienna Soloist Orchestra and the Vienna Philharmonic. Concert tours have taken him throughout Europe, to North America and Asia. Since 1971, he has been professor of violin at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, of which he was rector. He acts as a jury member at music competitions like the International Violin Competition Henri Marteau. He is also president of the International Fritz Kreisler Competition.
