Palwankar Shivram
Babaji Palwankar Shivram (6 March 1878 – 28 December 1941) was an Indian cricketer who was one of the most successful players for the Hindus cricket team in the Bombay Quadrangular competition. Early years Babaji Palwankar Shivram was born on 6 March 1878 in the city of Bhuj, in the modern Indian state of Gujarat in a Chamar Family Completing his schooling in Mumbai (then Bombay), Shivram obtained employment with the Greater Indian Peninsular Railways. He was the brother of cricketer and social leader Palwankar Baloo and Palwankar Vithal, who was appointed a captain of the Hindus team. Pratap Shivram Singh
Pratap Shivram Singh (27 December 1912 – 24 January 1975) was an Indian politician, social worker and British Indian Army soldier as Junior commissioned officer. He was elected as Member of Parliament of Third, Fourth loksabha and 5th Lok Sabha from Shimla constituency. Shimla Lok Sabha was formerly known as Sirmur lok sabha and reserved for Scheduled castes. He was also president of Koli Mahasabha. Singh died in Port Blair on 24 January 1975, at the age of 62. Shivram Mahadev Paranjape (Devanagari: शिवराम महादेव परांजपे; 27 June 1864 – 27 September 1929) was an eminent Marathi writer, scholar, orator, journalist and freedom fighter from Maharashtra. He created unrest among the people of Maharashtrian against British rule through his popular weekly ''Kaal'' (meaning "Times" in Marathi) from 1898 to 1908. Early life Paranjape was born on 27 June 1864 in Mahad in Raigad district to a local practising advocate. After his primary education at Mahad, at 14 he attended secondary school in Raigad. He was highly impressed by his teacher Vishnushastri Krushnashastri Chiplunkar who had also inspired Lokmanya Tilak and Gopal Ganesh Agarkar to start their social and political career. Shivram Dattatray Joshi (1926–2013) also known as S. D. Joshi, was an Indian Sanskrit scholar and grammarian based in Pune, Maharashtra. Life Personal life Joshi was born in a family of Sanskrit scholars in Ratnagiri in Konkan, Maharashtra. His father died when Joshi was a child. He married Kalavati Bhagavat, his college classmate, in 1958. Joshi had two children, a son named Anandavardhan (Nandan) and a daughter named Suvrata. Joshi died on 29 July 2013 at the age of 87. Education and career Joshi's initial learning was from his uncle Maheshwar Shastri Joshi in Pune. He mastered Sanskrit grammar before the age of twenty, passing various examinations from Bengal, Baroda and Pune. Shivram Baburao Bhoje (born 9 April 1942) is a distinguished Indian nuclear scientist who worked in the field of fast-breeder nuclear reactor technology for forty years in the design, construction, operation, and research and development. Balakrishna Shivram Moonje
Balakrishna Shivram Moonje (B.S.Moonje, also B.S. Munje, 12 December 1872 – 3 March 1948) was a leader of the Hindu Mahasabha in India. Career Moonje was born into a Deshastha Rigvedi Brahmin (DRB) family in 1872 at Bilaspur in Central Provinces. He completed his Medical Degree from Grant Medical College in Mumbai in 1898, and was employed in Bombay Municipal Corporation as a Medical Officer. He left his job to participate in the Boer War in South Africa through the medical wing, as the King's Commissioned Officer. Following the death of Bal Gangadhar Tilak in 1920, Moonje dissociated from Congress. He disagreed with the two main policies of M. K. Gandhi, namely his non-violence and secularism.
