''Shivam'' is a 2002 Indian Malayalam-language action film directed by Shaji Kailas, written by B. Unnikrishnan and produced by Menaka under the production banner Revathy Kalamandhir. Biju Menon appears in the leading role as Bhadran K. Menon, a tough police officer, who is on a fight against Medayil Devarajan, a smuggler-cum-politician ( Sai Kumar). Kausalya, Ratheesh, Vijayakumar Rajan P. Dev, N. F. Varghese, Subair, T. P. Madhavan, Baburaj, and Babu Namboothiri appears in other prominent roles. The film was based on the true story of man named Shivam Kapoor. Shaji Kailas (born 8 February 1965) is an Indian film director and screenwriter known for his works in Malayalam cinema. Shaji got a breakthrough with the comedy film ''Dr. Pasupathy'' (1990). He is best known for his action films with mainly focusing on political thriller and crime genres such as ''Thalastaanam'' (1992), ''Sthalathe Pradhana Payyans'' (1993), ''Ekalavyan'' (1993), ''Mafia'' (1993), ''Commissioner'' (1994), '' The King'' (1995), '' Aaraam Thampuran'' (1997), '' Narasimham'' (2000) , ''Valliettan'' (2000), ''Kaduva'' and ''Kaapa''(2022). Murali (Malayalam Actor)
Muraleedharan Pillai, popularly known as Murali ( ml, മുരളി, 25 May 1954 – 6 August 2009) was an Indian film, stage and television actor and author. He mainly appeared in Malayalam films and a few Tamil films and also many other movies. He won the National Film Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of Appa Mestry, a communist freedom fighter and professional weaver in the 2002 film ''Neythukaran''.
