Shitting Glitter
''Shitting Glitter'' is an American avant-pop band inspired by new wave and electronic rock. The band was formed in 2001 by Amy Crosby (vocals), Devin Tait (synths and vocals) and Yvonne "Mag" Edwards (guitar and vocals). After multiple lineup changes, Brandon Glen replaced Edwards as the guitar player and the trio released their debut album "Post No Bills" in 2003. 2006 saw the release of "Free Alongside Ship" on Decadrisco Records. The band has been labeled queercore, electroclash, and new wave and has played at many queer and gay festivals and events including Christopher Street West (L.A.'s Gay Pride Festival), Folsom Street Fair, and Reykjavik Gay Pride. They performed their single "Mondo di Corpo" on Q Television Network. Folsom Street Fair
Folsom Street Fair (FSF) is an annual BDSM and leather subculture street fair, held in September, that caps San Francisco's "Leather Pride Week". The Folsom Street Fair, sometimes simply referred to as "Folsom", takes place on Folsom Street between 8th and 13th Streets, in San Francisco's South of Market district. The event started in 1984, and is California's third-largest single-day, outdoor spectator event and the world's largest leather event and showcase for BDSM products and culture. Paradise, KS
Paradise is a city in Russell County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 35. History In 1859, a hunting party explored the area, including a small tributary of the Saline River which led them to a site abundant in water, timber, and bison. One of the hunters, James R. Mead, described the site as paradise, and the tributary subsequently became known as Paradise Creek. The first post office in the area opened under the name Paradise in 1875. In 1887, the Union Townsite Company established a town on the north side of the creek northwest of the post office, naming it Ivamar after Iva Marr, the daughter of a local rancher. The Paradise post office relocated to Ivamar the next year, but kept its name. As a result, the town came to be known by both names; in 1891, the Union Pacific Railroad listed its rail stop there as Paradise with Ivamar in parentheses. "Happy Birthday" is a song by Scottish band Altered Images, released as a single from their 1981 album of the same name. The song entered the UK charts in September 1981 and peaked at number two the following month, holding that position for three weeks. It was the 15th-best-selling single in the UK in 1981 and has been certified silver by the BPI for sales in excess of 250,000 copies. Altered Images are a Scottish new wave/post-punk band who found success in the early 1980s. Fronted by singer Clare Grogan, the group branched into mainstream pop music, having six UK top-40 hit singles and three top-30 albums from 1981 to 1983.
